I have been in Dentistry for 19 years now. I started as a dental assistant and am now an RDAEF. People say my passion for Dentistry is contagious, I love helping people achieve their dream smile and healthy mouth. I love working with patients that have fear or anxiety as I personally understand this journey. I pride myself on making patients feel comfortable and at ease, and giving them confidence and assurance that they will get the best care possible. I love to educate, encourage, and comfort patients. I live in the city of Orange with my husband and two beautiful daughters, a pet rabbit, and two 2 cockatiels. In my free time, I spend time with my family and friends. I had my first visit with Dr. Nichols on Friday and from the moment I walked in I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. I was greeted by a happy, caring staff at the reception desk. In the treatment room, a smiling Anna prepared me for the procedure. Dr. Nichols explained my situation and provided me with a few options to consider. After taking the time to discuss the pros and cons, I selected a plan and we proceeded with the treatment. Dr. Nichols took his time with me, making sure I was comfortable and ok throughout the procedure. Absolutely no pain! At the end of the treatment, Dr. Nichols spent the extra time to make sure the tooth was right from both a bite and cosmetic perspective. Thank you Dr. Nichols and Staff!

I would recommend Dr. Nichols office If you were looking for a new dentist. He took over the practice from the prior dentist who I I had for a number of years. I really like the technological improvements and modern methods. The staff is really friendly too!
Had my first visit today at Dr. Nichols and it went great! The office was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Ivane took my x-rays and she was very gentle. The hygienist, Tiffany was great. I most appreciate that when I met Dr.Nichols, he spoke to me in my preferred language, Spanish. He was very thorough that I had no questions. I highly recommend this place!
Dr. Nichols is truly the best. Among the great quality work, his customer service skills match if not exceeds the patient's expectations. Just recently I chipped my filling. Unfortunately, Dr. Nichols was on his way out of town for the holidays. This didn't stop him from helping me out though. He completely went out of his way to do the research and find credible dentists within my area that was open on a Saturday. He and his office even followed up with me afterward. Again, great customer service! It definitely goes a long way.

The dental hygienists are friendly and efficient. Joanna and the front office staff are helpful in answering billing questions and keep all the paperwork to a minimum so youre in and out quickly. I just finished my first cleaning @ Justin W. Nichols, DDS, inc. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They like to communicate with you throughout your cleaning, which was very calming and reassuring. Out of all the years I have been going to the dentist, I havent felt more comfortable and at peace than I have with them. Thank you for making my cleaning easy!
My visit at Dr. Justin Nichols was very pleasant, his staff is very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. I had a cleaning and an Invisalign check-up and both Dr. Nichols and his assistant were very gentle. I was very satisfied and happy with my exam. Dr. Nichols suffered a traumatic blow to his front teeth when he was just six years old. As a result, he was in and out of dental offices constantly as he grew up. He even had to wear a fake tooth appliance for most of his adolescent years. He really struggled with self-esteem during this time whenever he smiled or even spoke with others.
Once Dr. Nichols jaw stopped growing, he was able to receive a dental implant, and the experience was nothing short of life-changing. It also gave him a strong desire to focus on helping others through the field of dentistry, with a particular emphasis on dental implants and their transformative abilities. Because of his personal experiences, he understands the concerns of his patients in similar situations and is able to empathize with them.
After completing his undergraduate degree at UC San Diego, Dr. Nichols pursued his dental doctorate at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class with high honors. Following graduation, he underwent two years of a VA hospital-based residency with an emphasis on complex procedures like dental implants, oral surgery, bone grafting, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Today, Dr. Nichols is proud to be a lifelong learner who regularly partakes in conferences and continuing education to stay at the top of the field. He definitely sees a role for himself in dental education in the future! He is also proud to be a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society. Dr. Nichols also speaks fluent Spanish.
Dr. Nichols thrives when he is learning. He spends most of his free time absorbing books, podcasts, or lectures in an effort to constantly be growing. He enjoys doing life with others by cultivating strong relationships with friends and family. Dentistry as a whole is a ministry to him; he has been on multiple mission trips and plans to continue to incorporate them as a critical part of his life journey. Additional interests of his include psychology, theology, apologetics, fitness, cooking, espresso / pour-over coffee, business, leadership and entrepreneurship.
