Dr. Ordoez takes her time to get to know each and every patient one on one, helping them make informed choices about their dental health. Dr. Ordoez is a native of San Francisco and has been practicing dentistry since 1996. After studying at the University Of San Carlos Of Guatemala,she continued her education at UCLA and obtained her California Dental License in 2001. She then worked as a dentist in Southern California and returned to her hometown of San Francisco in 2017. Dr. Ordoez joined Mission Dental Group in 2020.
Dr. Ordoez is a perfectionist and believes strongly in the value of continuing education, for example, she successfully completed a Comprehensive Esthetic Residency at the prestigious Esthetic Professionals Dental Education Center in Tarzana, CA. In addition, she takes educational & training courses regularly to advance her knowledge & skills and participates in the annual meeting of the American Dental Association. Dr. Ordoez is an active long time member of the following organizations:
Dr. Friedrich has always had a passion for helping others and it shows in his approach to care. Patients often describe Dr. Friedrich as a compassionate, personable, and honest doctor. He takes time to get to know the each patient and places emphasis on their experience. As a practitioner, Dr. Friedrich values his patients relationships by maintaining open communication and creating an environment that empowers the patient. His patient-centered approach will help you feel comfortable in the dental office!
Dr. Friedrich is from Oakdale located in the Central Valley of Northern California. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Science-Business. He is a graduate of University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he learned excellent, conservative dental care and the importance of prevention.
Dr. Friedrich is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is exceptionally driven in his career and strives to keep up with the latest in dental education and patient care.
In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and keeping up with his favorite team, the Golden State Warriors. He is an avid traveller and hopes to one day make it to Japan where he can enjoy his favorite food, sushi! Dr. Friedrich is happy to meet with you and looks forward to taking care of your cosmetic and general dental needs
Dr. Growney is a native of San Francisco and established his dental offices in their present locations because of his love for the community. I had an appointment here and it was the most unpleasant experience that I've ever had at a dental office. It was incredibly noisy and the exam rooms had no doors for peace and quiet. I was too overwhelmed and upset to continue with my appointment. The staff was wonderful so this was really unfortunate.

I had a great first experience with this dentist office in 2020, and it's what led me to continue coming back. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case ever since my several recent visits. I returned to the office in July 2021 originally for a cleaning, in which they started taking X-rays without communicating with me. Before the appointment had started, I had asked the receptionist to check that my insurance was still eligible for coverage, in which she completely disregarded me. After the appointment, I was abruptly met with a $490 bill, as my insurance was no longer eligible. I had asked if there were at least a payment plan to help cover the enormous bill, but was only offered a subscription costing $450 to cover all the services. Luckily I had the funds to cover it, but I was not expecting to pay that whopping amount. This appointment was my first time back in a little over a year, and my prior positive experiences were instantly overshadowed. I was being rushed throughout my appointment, and the doctor would come in for very short and abrupt periods of time. I felt that there was a huge lack of communication, as I couldn't properly understand the procedures I would be undergoing and the recovery process. During my appointments, I noticed that the dentist, Doctor Rosa Marie Ordonez, was also attending to several other patients, which does not allow for quality service. I spent majority of my time in that office waiting to be attended to. I was extremely disappointed after going through my crown procedure in September 2021 due to all the rushing. It seems that Doctor Ordonez did not properly examine my teeth after the several adjustments, as I had to visit 3 times within the span of 21 days. These appointments were also cutting into my work time, and I spent most of my time just waiting to be attended to. After my first procedure for the crown, I was left in lots of pain, discomfort, and confusion. I did not know if the pain I was experiencing was normal and I felt very unprepared. I was not communicated with at all about what to expect. Days later, I came in for an adjustment due to the crown being uneven, which was due to the rush and lack of attention of the work. After this first adjustment, I was left with more discomfort and discovered that I could no longer floss the way that I normally did before. Every time I tried to floss between my new crown, it broke my floss pick. After wasting several picks, I decided to wait it out and see if it was just swollen. After several days, it was still the same. After coming in for an adjustment the second time, I was told by Doctor Ordonez that she "personally doesn't like those; they transmit a lot of bacteria to other teeth." I have never had a problem using these floss picks. I should not have to suddenly change my dental hygiene routine due to these mistakes. It seems that she had made an excuse, and instead of acknowledging her mistake, I was being pressured to change my floss. I hope that no one else has to experience this in the future.

Absolutely LOVE this place Alison was really nice starting with my first phone call, she took her time to work with my schedule helping me to get in before the end of the year so that I could utilize my insurance. This office has a modern and relaxed vibe. The assistant Lorelei was very patient taking my X-rays and made sure I was comfortable during the process. Dr O was full of information about my dental health and made sure I left with all my questions answered, you can tell she likes to get to know you as a person and not just a patient. I have found my new dental home.

My wife and I are giving Mission Dental Group SF 5 stars because of our amazing and professional treatment and communication. Since we made an appointment, we received consistent support and information from Allison (front desk associate). We were able to fill all the necessary forms digitally before our appointment. The advice we received from the doctor was detailed and accurate. We received a thorough treatment (deep cleaning and fillings). The whole staff is very professional and care for their patients. My wife and I recommend them if you need a dentist!

This is a great, modern dental office right in the heart of Mission District with amazing & friendly staff all the way from the front desk to the Dr O's operatory. I was a new patient and it was very easy to make an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. I wasn't kept waiting when I arrived at the office and I felt completely safe with all the Covid response steps that were in place, including available hand sanitizer and having my temperature checked before I entered the operatory. Rechelle made sure I was comfortably seated before Dr O came in to perform the exam and fix my chipped tooth. I even had a complimentary cleaning of some lower teeth while Dr O was waiting for some supplies to be fetched from another room. I left as a happy patient and will surely go back for cleanings or other work I may need in future. Y se habla espanol.

I had a great experience with my first appointment at Mission Dental! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Dr Appelblatt was great - he was thorough and he took the time to explain all the different parts of the x-rays and to explain the rationale behind his recommendations. (I feel like I better understand my teeth now!) He was perfectly comfortable giving me time to think about the recommendations and didn't rush my decisions at all.
