An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Just moved to Mission Viejo 2 months ago. Randomly picked Mission Dental for my exam and cleaning, primarily because it's so close to my new home. What a great choice that turned out to be! The entire staff is very pleasant, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was taught things about gum care and using my waterpik properly that no other dentist has ever taken the time to explain to me. This office is outstanding. 5 stars. And I'm a tough critic. Had a deep cleaning done with Jamie. Super nice, super knowledgeable, and super thorough when explaining the cleaning process and what to expect. She also doesn't give you a hard time if your dental hygiene is less than perfect, which I've actually experienced a lot with other hygienists. 10/10 would do it again!

Overall good experience with noticeable attention to detail by manager Aaron who greeted customers upon arrival. Nice to see Manager provide support to his team and taking time to thank customers after services rendered. Jamie the hygienist is excellent, thorough & provides compassionate dental care.

Love this office and the staff. I wont go anywhere besides here. The staff is always friendly and constantly work with me and my schedule. They treat me like family here. The professional who does the cleaning, Jamie or Janie, is always fun to work with. She keeps me laughing the entire time. And the receptionist is always 2 steps ahead of me, keeping all my dental needs in order. Aaron, who does the billing, always breaks everything down in a way that's easy to understand and he constantly has a professional attitude when knowing how to talk to patients. If i could give it more than 5 stars i would. Outstanding
