Dr. Byrne, Dentist in Santee, is a graduate of The University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey along with being an alumni of Trenton State University. He continued his dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center and Veterans Administration in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Byrne went on to receive his certification in Invisalign (clear braces) as well as advanced education in dental implant surgical placement and restoration through the STEPPS/Dentsply Continuing Education Course. He also has taken courses in the treatment of TMD and Restorative Dentistry, under Dr. Terry Tanaka.
Dr. Byrne has been providing quality care as a general and cosmetic dentist for the past 19 years. He practiced general dentistry in Los Angeles prior to relocating to San Diego, CA in 2005. Dr. Byrne has worked for several private and group practices throughout San Diego County prior to establishing Mission Creek Family Dentistry in Santee, CA.
Michelle started off her career as a medical receptionist at 18 and became a certified biller/coder at 20 years old. About 13 years ago she transitioned to dental and never looked back! She's new to the San Diego area having just moved here with her husband and children from Washington state, so whenever she's not at work she enjoys spending lots of quality time with her family. They enjoy going on roadtrips and hitting up the best local parks and spending time at the beach with their dog. For Michelle, taking care of patients isn't just the responsibility of the doctor, it's hers too. She truly loves what she does and enjoys making a difference in our patients' lives. Patients appreciate her in-depth knowledge of insurance and her ability to reconcile billing issues with limited patient intervention.
Katelyn is a 21 year old California native. She lives here in San Diego and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend. She is currently in school and working on her Master's Degree in Psychology. Katelyn enjoys Dentistry because she believes it is the best thing ever to see patients feel confident and happy about themselves. Patients enjoy Katelyns warm and accommodating personality.
Bianca is a San Diego Native who has been in the dental field for over 6 years. She is a highly trained registered dental assistant. She stays current with continuing education classes; a commitment she takes seriously to help patient's maintain their dental health. Our patients enjoy her bubbly, positive personality and gentle, compassionate chairside manner. Bianca enjoys hiking with her family and enjoying all the beautiful outdoor activies San Diego has to offer.
Jacqueline started her dental career in 2016 as a dental assistant. She is now a graduate of Concorde Career College and obtained her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2019. She was awarded Miss Congeniality by her teachers due to her kind and comforting disposition. She is compassionate and able to put her patients at ease to ensure a positive dental experience. Jacqueline loves her career and considers her patients as family. Jacqueline is bi-lingual and speaks both English and Spanish. She's also a military wife and has two children of her own. She loves hiking up in Idyllwild, CA, going to the beach and theme parks. Disneyland is considered her home away from home!

Best dentist and staff hands down. Dr Bryne is superior with his people skills and dentistry skills. His staff as well are fantastic and go out of their way to make you comfortable from start to finish. The prices are reasonable too.

Very nice staff and dentist. A veneer came off my tooth and they fit me in within a day to put it back in. My first time here and I have definitely found my dentist! Dr. Byrne is awesome!

This office is amazing! My dentist (Dr. Byrne) made me feel extremely at ease about my upcoming extraction procedure, & was caring and understanding about my issue. The hygienist was extremely thorough, & vastly knowledgable giving me some amazing advice I have never heard from any other dental office. This will be my dental practice from now until I'm old and gray. I feel really fortunate to have such a friendly and welcoming office, that really truly cared about me. I know that I will be in the best of care here, & in the best hands "pun intended". I hate going to the dentist, I don't know anyone that doesn't; but my experience at Mission Creek makes me feel happy to return because I not only trust them but also feel extremely safe. Even on my first visit. I highly recommend if you're in network to schedule an appointment.
