In college, I decided to follow in my father's steps and seek a career in dentistry. So, for me, dental care is much more than simply being an engineer of the mouth. I love the art of maintaining the integrity, functionality, appearance, and health of the whole oral system. Doing this for my patients is more than a challenge....it is a joyous commitment.
I am passionate about my profession and every aspect of ensuring your optimal oral health. I want your smile to be your best asset and I am dedicated to providing an empathetic, patient-friendly, and comfortable environment for your visit. I have committed myself to not only learn the needs of individual patients, but the dynamics of the community I serve. I have always been a compassionate person, and I always want to help anyone in need. Since dental problems can damage a person's self-image as well as their health, I look forward to every opportunity to improve my patients' self-esteem and confidence while providing vital information about how to achieve and maintain a beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime.
In her free time, Dr. Colon especially enjoys family time, going to the movie theater, reading, and baking with her lovely daughter, Frances Merlee. She also enjoys playing tennis and spending time at the beach.

I first want to say that the staff is very very nice. I can't deny that... HOWEVER, when it comes to professionalism, this is not the place you want to go. I've been a patient here for about year, within that time I've had to have cavities filled, cleanings, etc. A total of about 6 to 8 appointments. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them has either been rescheduled, canceled, or I have been called on THE DAY OF and was asked to come in early because they feel like going home early... They have changed their hours so many times it is ridiculous!!! This is a business?!?! I understand other people have lives but when you work as a teacher and can't even get an appointment at 3:30pm on a week day when it says online, they close at 5:00 that's a tad ridiculous. I have even made appointments and have received phone calls asking me to come in even earlier than that EVERY TIME I HAVE MADE AN APPOINTMENT. My last straw was when I had an emergency filling that can out.... I needed an appointment as soon as possible and was told that they can schedule me for 3:00PM at the latest but they close at 4pm everyday so I can't be late. My first ever appointment with them was at 4:30. In less than a year they close before that?!?!?! That's ridiculous. After I had already decided to change dentists, before I even had a chance to call them, I received YET ANOTHER phone call wanting to reschedule my appointment for November because they're closing early that day. My appointment was for 230. 230 on a Wednesday? Are you serious? DO NOT GO HERE if you have a job because they do not accommodate anyone but themselves.

They told me I would have to have thousands of dollars worth of dental care. Thankfully I got a second opinion from Dr. Fidy at Greenberg Dental and he got me on track without all of the unnecessary work.

I'm always impressed at this dental office. My hygienist Monica always does a top notch job, amd Dr. Colon is my favorite dentist ever! From their technology, to their techniques, pain aversion, amd bedside manner, even their billing folks, service with a smile, not too bad on the wallet, amd genuinely caring attention is always part of each visit. 5 stars amd that's saying a lot for a dentist office!!

I have been to a couple dentist offices since I moved from Michigan to Florida back in 2019. Todays visit made me feel very happy. Monica my technician today was outstanding. She did my X-rays as well as my cleaning. I felt so comfortable. Thank you

Since I moved it has been very stressful for me finding a good dentist. I looked into this place and seen many good reviews that I decided give the shot. IT WAS WORTH IT. I came because I saw a stain in my retainer and I was afraid that it could be a carie. First, the dentist assistant heard my concern and checked my retainer. She was so sweet, helpful and polite. Then it came Dr. Colon she is so professional and dedicated. She explained to me what was going on, she fixed my fill (no more stain for me for sure), she answered my questions and for sure made me loose my fear. Certainly, can't wait for my next appointment. Thanks you guys for making me feel comfortable .
