Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Horrible Experience. Not only is it overpriced drastically compared to other dentist places but they are very unprofessional. At first, My experience at this dentistry with Dr Ochoa Was Nice but soon after I kept going, each time my visit would get worse. I walked into this dentist wanting to trust them and I had no pain. After I got out with a poorly fitted temporary crown I had to come back the day after and 2-3 days after that to get it fixed each day and something was always wrong with it. I left the dentist with unbearable pain each time. There was also people that attended me that didnt know what they were doing what so ever. As one of the dental assistants was creating my tooth mold for my permanent crown, it got stuck in my tooth because she waited too long. She didn't know how to take it off and had to call someone else in. That other person that fixed it, my temporary crown got loose the day after again. After I expressed my feelings and disappointment with this dentist, it was just more and more money for them at this point instead of fixing the issue. The X rays that were taken were also false because after this incident, I reached out to a specialist who did 3D X rays on my tooth and what was shown was nothing compared to what Miramar Modern Dentistry was telling me. This specialist mentioned that They touched my nerve which explains as to why this pain is absolutely horrible. I dont wish this upon anyone. I even asked for the money back and they refuse to give me that after everything they put me through. Now, it is extremely hard to live with the trauma on trusting another dentist ever again. Please do your research before going.

The dentist and staff were great. The prices are high, in my opinion. The floors and bathroom were not clean that gives a bad impression. - it makes me nervous about the rest of the place and their equipment.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Ochoa and the staff here. They are AMAZING! I'm terrified of going to the dentist but everyone there is so nice and really put me at ease. Dr. Ochoa really has a wonderful bedside manner. He was patient, gentle and explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my procedure. 5 out of 5 A++++

I came to this office because I knew something was wrong with a tooth that had a root canal in it. My old dentist kept telling me everything was fine, but the discomfort I was feeling said otherwise. When Dr. Ochoa saw me, he confirmed that something was wrong amongst other issues I knew I had. He didn't try to make things seem worse than it was. So, with all things considered (getting a tooth pulled) I had the best experience with Dr. Roig and Jose. They made me feel super comfortable and the procedure was quick and painless. The front desk staff is equally friendly... I'm really happy I made Miramar Modern my home dentist.

I was completely enthralled by the warm Compassionate Professional Treatment Administered to me by the entire Staff from the moment in stepped in the door. Immense KUDOS to Jacqui the Dental Assistant with such air of calm pleasant assurance that I'll be fine during the entire Procedure, which was "extensive"...some 5.5 hours..yesssssss I dare say...I have been truly tardy in my maintenance over the years...but the Entire team gently and professionally reminded me of the importance of maintaining optimal Dental Health and devised a distinct course of action to re-establish proper Dental decency..without embarrassing me. Amen..& they DELIVERED...I AM BOASTING TRULY PEARLY. .PLAQUE FREE FINALLY! THANK YOU PROFOUNDLY MIRAMAR MODERN DENTISTRY. ..DR ROIG, NATALIE DENTAL HYGIENIST & JACQUI..THE ENTIRE TEAM HERE ARE STELLAR PROFESSIONALS! "BOMBASTICALLY FANTASTIC! THIS YAAAAAAAAD GIRL ENDORSE THEM!!!: EVERYTIME!!!

Dr. Rivero was very informative and was very honest about the work I needed and what to expect. He worked quickly and efficiently alongside his assistant Jackie who was amazing. Very friendly staff and clean facility. Dr. Rivero also went out of his way to call me a few days after my procedure to check up on me. It has been a great experience overall coming to this dentist. Definitely recommend 10/10.

This is by far the worse dental experience I ever had in my life. I literally spent 2 hours for nothing. I went in for a routine cleaning after x-rays etc they recommended services in which I declined until further notice and I still never got the basic dental cleaning . This is absolutely absurd !! Reporting to my insurance as well. This can't be common practice. Beyond disappointing I stopped in here !!

Dr. Ochoa and his Assistant, Jessica were very kind with me on my first visit. Im relatively reluctant with dentist, but it was a nice first visit and my deep cleaning went well! Thanks ! The aforementioned review was originally a 5 star review and I am unfortunately giving a second review today. First and foremost the Dr, assistant and even the front desk individual were respectful and pleasant to work with; however it's important to know prior to coming here about the pricing and what your insurance can or cannot cover. I was very ignorant to this and I have learned from my mistake, my mistake was believing that a deep cleaning cost $700 and my insurance covers $504 dollars. The front desk individual came and explained the deep cleaning price and I thought it was expensive. The explanation isn't thorough. I even told her "is this the standard price or is it because this place is more expensive", she expressed that the price is what it is due to the insurance and what's covered. I of course told myself "okay". Again ignorance... all I know is I requested from work time off to come get a cleaning that I really needed and I needed to get it done and that's my mistake. Like they say in hindsight everything is 20/20. I called my insurance and spoke to my prior dentist that I loved but I moved from homestead to pines, which is why I switched. They have never heard of such an expensive deep cleaning. I then started reading the detailed billing I was provided with and noticed a lot of things that weren't explained included in the pricing, to my knowledge this was the standard pricing and my insurance only covered certain things; unfortunately those things were for a laser treatment (not sure of the jargon) that they did to me at the end of my cleaning that was $60 per tooth that was a number or stage 4 for the tooth cleaning. My husband went today and confronted the situation and was told the laser treatment is "recommended", meaning not mandatory. I was never told about the laser, the laser took place at the end of my deep cleaning, I was accidentally burned with it and told the doctor something is burning and he kindly noticed and apologized. After, I said to the dr. "What's the laser for, Ive never seen this" he explained it was for bacteria in gums... thought nothing of it. Had I been told "hey there's a laser treatment that is not mandatory it's recommended that cost $60 per tooth etc. and that's why your deep cleaning is coming out to $504 after insurance and oh yeah your insurance doesn't cover this laser code hence the high amount, I would've declined the laser to avoid this high payment. I consider myself intelligent, I have a masters degree in forensic psych, I'm a professional in social services (not high paying)but passionate. All I can say is, research, second opinions and ask them what is mandatory or not. Unfortunately, the code for the laser treatment means someone who hasn't been to the dentist is 3 years and has significant tooth decay! First of all, I went to the dentist a year back! Most of my teeth were 2/3 minimal were 4. So ? I'm a quick learner and this will never happen to me again. I, of course didn't expect to pay that much on the visit , and asked if I could split the payment I paid $250 yesterday and I am paying the remaining next month and my card is already on file and set to take the payment out September 20, as I understand I already committed to it and completed the deep cleaning yesterday. It just sucks when certain aspects were not explained. It was not an informed decision, as not all was told to me nor "recommended or not". Borderline taken advantage it feels. But I'll take responsibility for not having better judgement and leaving and getting a more informed explanation. I recommend more training on explaining to clients what is recommended or not. What exactly is your insurance not covering that is not clinically mandatory. If money is not an issue then listen enjoy, the place is clean and again ppl were nice. I'm a woman of integrity, I don't think I was told everything in detail.

Great staff, everyone was professional and welcoming. I never like going to the dentist, however, Javier and Jessika made me feel comfortable throughout my dentist visit. Naomi was helpful as well answering questions related to appointments, insurance, and expenses.
