Dr. Jessica Minton is a native of Claiborne County and serving her community has always been one ofher long time personal goals.She graduated from Claiborne County High School and proceeded to receive her Bachelors of Science in Biology from East Tennessee State University. She then attained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry.After graduation, Dr. Minton pursued public health in the East Tennessee Health Department system where she developed a love of treating patients of all ages. She then made the decision to enter private practice and openedMinton FamilyDental Care.Dr. Jessica Minton is anactive member of the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Dental Association, 2nd District Dental Society, andthe Academy of General Dentistry.In addition to her dental training, Dr. Minton completed advanced education through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in the areas of Botox and dermal fillers. She is currently a member of Spears Study Club and loves attending continuing dental education conferences in all areas of dentistry. In her personal time, Dr. Minton loves spending time with her son. She also enjoys crocheting and crafting.

Money hungry and does not care about their patients. Will do unnecessary procedures just to make an extra dollar.

Dr Minton's practice is wonderful and very accommodating. Even though they have a very busy schedule they were able to work me in. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Dr. Minton is very professional with a nice touch of humor. I would recommend Minton Family Dental Care to anyone that just relocated to Claiborne county or is just looking for a great dentist office.

Called to get pricing on basic exam and was very rudely dealt with and told an exam price varies by patient and quoting over the phone was something they don't do. Why would anyone want to waste their time making an appointment and going in, not knowing if it's within their budget? Weird.

Made appointment 6 months ago only to find out the day before that I have to pay a current balance before I can be seen. Which normally isn't a problem except I had been calling them and leaving messages for literal months trying to pay that balance and not even so much as a call back, letter, or statement was sent to me. I'll sit here today not at an appointment, but with two broken teeth in my gums and make an appointment with another provider months from now with better lines of communication. As a local business in our community I still wish them the best, I still think highly of Dr. Minton and other staff but the location is terribly managed in my opinion.. Best of luck to MFDC in the future.

Super friendly service, very quick to make an appointment, very precise, knowledgeable, and took a painful experience that I was nervous about and made it as pleasant as possible. They definitely earned my business for regular dental visits and not just an emergency visit. Thank you!

So I have to say the ladies at Minton are wonderful and do great work. I had to have many cavities filled including one on the top front of a front tooth that scared me to death but it looks amazing and feels so much better. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is a little expensive but totally worth the money overall because she uses high quality products. I am very glad I decided to go with them last year because I had not seen anyone in over 5 years and they didn't judge my teeth just let me know what was needed to keep them for as long as possible.

Would not recommend. I'm 20 years old with bad dental genes. In my teenage years I went to this place and missed a few appointments due to my grandmother not being able to take me. Recently I had went back after they started seeing me again. I called a day before my scheduled appointment to reschedule and they told me I could not be seen there any longer because of my past missed appointments. How is it even fair that they can hold something against me that I had no control over? It's hard to find a dentist to accept you and take your insurance. I think they are unfair and I will not be taking my own children there.
