Dr. Teny Matavoosi is a talented, caring and compassionate dentist who brings her zeal for dentistry everyday to work. She prioritizes patient comfort, understanding that many people have dental anxiety. She always takes her time to educate her patients, explaining procedures and answering questions so that they can feel empowered to make the best decision about their treatment. Her desire for perfection is reflected in her work ethic and results. She actively engages in continuing education and stays on top of the current trends and technological advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Teny earned her dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy where she was actively involved and graduated with honors. She received the GV Black Award for Clinical Excellence and Community Outreach. Prior to heading to Detroit, she earned her Bachelors of Science degree from University of California San Diego where she was given the opportunity to lead as Clinic Manager for the UCSD Free Dental Clinic.
When she isnt working hard perfecting smiles, you can find her skiing, working out, hiking with her husband Zach and their dog Kevin. They love trying new restaurants and exploring the outdoors, and now are thrilled to welcome their first child into the family!
Dr. Brent Woodmansee completed his undergraduate education at Arizona State University, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and earned degrees in finance and marketing. He then achieved his doctorate of dental medicine at Midwestern University, where he also graduated in the top 5% of his class. Lastly, Dr. Woodmansee finished a Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the United States Air Force, earning the title of Advanced Clinical Dentist during his 9 years of service in the military.
Dr. Woodmansee also earned the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology-College of Sedation in Dentistry Master Certification. In addition, Dr. W has taught over 75 nurses, physicians, and dentists as a certified American Heart Association-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor. His post-graduate education has provided him additional training in the areas of IV sedation, oral surgery, dental implants, management of medically compromised patients, and the latest advances in dental technology.
Outside of the office he enjoys hiking, off-roading, and skiing. Dr. Woodmansee is a Phoenix native and an avid Arizona State Sun Devil and Cardinals fan. Though he enjoys his hobbies and practice, his favorite time is spent with his wife, Lindsay, and their two daughters Harper and Sloan.
