Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences as a Valedictorian at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry. While receiving her dental education, she was involved in dental research and was an active leader in various dental organizations. Due to her academic performance and commitment to patient care, she was selected by her faculty to be a member of dentistrys most prestigious honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon(OKU), in addition to receiving other dental awards. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt furthered her education by completing a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She practiced as an Associate Dentist in Charlottesville, Virginia prior to moving to Mason City. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt is committed to lifelong learning and providing the best comprehensive dental care to her patients. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt is an Alumni of The Dawson Academy. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Seattle Study Club, Spear Study Club and American Academy of Clear Aligners.
Dr. Cruz-Orcutt entered the field of dentistry because of her desire to help others achieve the best oral health possible. She believes that everyone should enjoy life to the fullest with the benefit that good oral health provides. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt loves the joy and satisfaction that she receives from each patient interaction. She strives to individualize treatment so as to meet her patients unique oral health needs. Her primary goal is for her patients to feel at ease while receiving excellent comprehensive care.
Dr. Cruz-Orcutt and her husband, Kevin Orcutt, have two fun and energetic kids Lukas and Adaliz. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt is fluent in both English and Spanish, is an avid amateur photographer, and loves the outdoors, traveling, music, and spending time with family and friends.

I always enjoy my visits to Mint Spring Dentistry! It is so obvious that Dr. Cruz and the women on her staff love their professions. Today was the culmination of 10 months of using Invisalign trays to straighten teeth that were threatening the integrity of my top front teeth! Today, Dr. Cruz cosmetically repaired a few teeth that were worn on the edges and I'm so pleased to have a lovely smile once again! Thank you, Dr. Cruz, Elyse, Shannon, Raquel and all of the wonderful women at Mint Springs!

This the best dentist's office I've ever been to! Every single staff member is so nice, thoughtful, and helpful. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt does an absolutely amazing job! I had a large gap in my front teeth and she put composite resin over it. It turned out beautifully! I love my new smile. I'm so glad I've chosen this place as my new dentist office! 100% recommend!

Dr. Cruz is very friendly and takes time to explain treatment! The office is beautiful and is using high tech equipment to provide the best treatment around! The staff are skilled and knowledgeable, Ashley did an amazing job for my cleaning, very gentle! Definitely recommend this office!

During my last visit, I was able to browse through Dr. Cruz-Orcutt's beautiful photo books, while waiting for my name to be called. The rich colors and the fine beauty of "all things great and small," caused me to stop and consider the person behind the camera who took these fabulous pictures. The yellow and green striped caterpillar was quite familiar as he had been a visitor in my own garden this past summer... but it was the book of snowflakes that spoke to me without any written words. That same patience, precision and eye for details are the same generous qualities she uses when she attends to my dental needs. I think she considers me, and treats me, with the same thoughtfulness as she does with every unique snowflake! Thanks to her great staff, who attend to my husband and me with that same considerate care and respect.

Dr. Cruz-Orcutt and everyone on staff with Mint Springs are always informative, professional, friendly and quick to call you by name. As a family we have had an array of services ranging from general check ups, fillings, crowns and implants and have always been happy with the results. We have appreciated the staff taking care of insurance claims and their willingness to follow up if needed , as well as the ease of making appointments and receiving appointment reminder notices. Overall we would recommend Mint Springs Dentistry.

Dr. Cruz just completed my dental implant and I couldn't be happier with the result. Her excellent skills, attention to detail, and state of the art equipment definitely helped to ensure the success of this project while her warm personality and the helpful attitude of her staff made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The staff at Mint Springs Dentistry provided wonderful services when I was in need of a crown. The doctor was very competent and professional while both she and her assistant were always concerned with my comfort level. I was impressed with how the procedure was handled. I enjoyed the assistant with her cordial interactions.
