Dr. Gayatri Patel has a driving passion for dentistry and a mission in life to help others in need. She cares deeply about her patients and takes the time to treat each one as though they were a member of her own family. Dr. Gayatri Patel works very hard to make sure that everyone in her chair get the care and personalized dentistry they deserve.
She graduated from dental school in 2001 in India and worked there before she decided to attend the Advanced Standing Program at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She graduated with High Honors (the highest honor) in 2007 and practiced in Northern Virginia, West Chester PA, and in Chicago suburbs before returning to be a local dentist. She loves the science and art of dentistry, and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education to provide care for her patients with latest advancements in dental technology.
Dr. Patel is concerned about the overall health of every patient she treats and considers educating patients about prevention of oral diseases of utmost importance. She believes in providing quality dental care based on her patients individual requirements and treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Patel is passionate about community service and has been giving back through volunteer work. She has been volunteering one day a week with Community Volunteers In Medicine (CVIM), and has periodically donated time to Give Kids A Smile (GKAS), and Mission Of Mercy (MOM) events. She and her husband have two boys, who love to visit mom at work.

I had a great new patient experience today with Dr. Patel! This was by far my best dental visit I've ever had. She was so friendly and kind but also really took her time explaining my teeth, X-ray images and a game plan moving forward. I have already scheduled my next two appointments there! I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Patel!!

Imagine being a dentist and your patient needs help as their front top six teeth are falling out while they're out of state from their regular dentist. Dr Patel and her assistant Sandy hit the ball out of the park when they offered to help a colleague in need; and a colleague they've never met no less! I can't thank them enough. My patient immediately sent me a message after treatment saying how wonderful they were in demeanor and how they 'fixed him right up'! Thank you Dr Patel and staff for being so kind and so excellent at your job!

Beautiful, newly-redecorated space. The staff are very friendly and courteous, and Dr. Patel is very thorough and detailed in her examination. She explains what she is doing and what she is looking for at each step. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of at my visit.

Everyone we've met or dealt with through this office has been very friendly and helpful. Andy and Shannon went above and beyond to figure out our insurance coverage, and Sandy was so welcoming and took care of the preliminary work like X-rays. Dr. Patel has an impressive background and gave a very thorough exam. She did not rush us and explained everything fully. So happy we found a great dental office!

Dr.Patel is very professional but very patient centric. The office is now upgraded with video to see your own teeth. What I was most grateful is how she administered the novacaine shots which totally detest by rubbing the cheeks which made it much less painful. Wish they teach that technique at all dental schools. To be honest, I was initially reluctant as the doctor changed, but very happily satisfied and will continue to see her.

Dr. Patel replaced the dentist I had been seeing for 29 years until he retired, so I was apprehensive about switching to a new practitioner. But after a routine 6-month check-up, an emergency visit for a broken tooth, and the first of two visits to repair that tooth with a crown, I can say that I hope to have Dr. Patel as my dentist for the next 29 years. Initially, I feared that my broken tooth would have to be extracted since it was a wisdom tooth. Dr. Patel noted that while extraction was an option, her "conservative" philosophy was to save teeth whenever possible. Amazingly, the crown work was completely painless. Even the Novocain injection was barely noticeable. Accessing the tooth was challenging. Consequently, I was highly impressed by the focused, methodical, and proficient way in which Dr. Patel performed the procedure. Dr. Patel's concern for patients extends to her office staff. The attending technicians were both pleasant and professional, and the administrative staff adroitly handled billing and insurance. As one at high-risk for Covid-19, I was greatly comforted to see that Dr. Patel's office has taken seriously CDC guidelines for treating patients during the pandemic (e.g., emergency visits only; no patient entry without a face mask; staff-administered temperature check; completion of a Covid-symptom check-list). No other patients were in the waiting area while I was there. Staff wore protective garb. (Indeed, I could barely see Dr. Patel behind her combination mask and visor!) In short, Dr. Patel is gentle, soothing, and personable, yet professional, knowledgeable, and above all, skillful. Her staff members are equally first-rate. The facility is clean and well-equipped. Anyone looking for a dental practice in the Pottstown area need look no further than Dr. Patel's Mint Family Dental.
