I scheduled a new patient appointment for a cleaning and confirmed it multiple times via text, phone call, and email. At my appointment time, they immediately took me to the back and performed all the x-rays quickly. Then, I was told that the dentist was in a treatment and "it would be a while" before he could see me. I thought that was strange, but no big deal. 40 minutes later, the dentist showed up and looked in my mouth a bit and felt my jaw. He sat me up in the chair and said that "no treatment is needed." I also thought that was strange because I hadn't even had my cleaning yet, but maybe that's how they do things here. The dentist then left the room and about 5 minutes later one of the front desk ladies came in and said that the hygienist would not be able to clean my teeth today and they'd like to reschedule at a convenient time for me. I was stunned and questioned why they couldn't complete the service during my scheduled and confirmed visit. I was told that they wanted to pull my last wisdom tooth, but I didn't want to.So, I guess they just book appointments and then cancel during them? I told them that I would pass as it was my first visit as a new patient at this particular location, but I'm an existing patient and I usually go to the spring location, but this location was closer to my place of work. Not to mention there were 3 people to come out before me and one new patient before meI walked out of there an hour after walking in and never got my teeth cleaned. I would definitely NOT recommend that you waste your time with them and find a reputable dentist. I don't know what the scam could be, but the whole interaction felt like one big SCAM.

My visit to this location ( 7-11-2022) shares the same sentiments as others of experiencing poor service. (Long post) Not from the Dental assistant nor the front desk but from the Dentist. He was rude, seemed rushed and suggested strongly that I make an appointment to a referred orthodontist I never needed. ( My teeth and gums are perfect) 1st he came into the room and started leaning back my chair ( no real introduction, very quick ) and then from there asked if I had any pain on the right side of my mouth. I said no. He said well I need for you to make an appointment to an orthodontist. I ask why and he said. I'm not sure. I asked what do you mean you are not sure? He said i see something on your xray but I'm not sure what it is. I said my insurance will want to know what the prognosis is and so do I. HE gave no other explanation and left the room. I went there to have my teeth cleaned. Annual visit that's all. I had no cavities and no deep cleaning needed. Just a regular cleaning needed. After waiting I was told they did not have a hygienist to clean my teeth due to her having to leave for an emergency. I asked if there was anyone else and the front desk person said no. So, the bottom line is, I visited this location for the first time, driving from almost an hour away, ( no other Mint Dentistry that is close to me will take my insurance anymore) I got treated like a second class citizen by the doctor with no real explanation as to what he might have found on my xray. He could not explain his professional opinion... I asked for a copy of my xray but it was not given to me. I feel like I was douped, bamboozled and misled. I will NOT go here again. This place needs to be reported due to the Dentist "bedside manner" poor explanation of possible problematic issues. Hygentist not being available after sitting and waiting for more than 30 minutes, (They charge you 50 dollars for appointments broken less that a 24 hour notice well, they should reimburse us for gas, braking their appoinment with us on short notice after driving there) My trust here is broken here. I will choose somewhere else.

My son was a patient at Mint Dentistry in The Woodlands and his experience was extremely poor. He went in for a routine check up and cleaning and the dentist said he had four cavities, which were drilled and filled. Upon having subsequent persistent pain, my son saw a different dentist who looked at the initial x-rays and concluded that he had only one cavity that needed filling (not four) and fixed the other fillings that were not done properly to alleviate the pain. After another few months of pain in the one tooth that did need the original filling, today he say his new dentist again and learned that the decay in the one actual cavity had not been completely removed by Mint dentistry, so that was fixed today and a new filling placed. The one cavity that was there in the beginning was not even properly filled by Mint dentistry. I would never suggest anyone use Mint dentistry.

Excellent dental office. Great staff. Very clean building. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were in line and staff made you feel comfortable. A definite recommend

The office staff is great but the dentist is dismissive and uncaring. He did not introduce himself to me any of the 3 times that I have been there. He did not talk to me before my procedure to let me know what he was going to do. Nor did he give me any explanation of what to expect after the procedure. He comes from behind the chair and just started working in my mouth as if I'm only teeth and not a person. I will not be back.

She almost immediately hands me a release so my next dentist can receive my X-rays that will be billed to my insurance. I walked out of there an hour after walking in and never got my teeth cleaned. I would definitely NOT recommend that you waste your time with them and find a reputable dentist. I don't know what the scam could be, but the whole interaction felt like one big SCAM.

At 1st I was worried about coming here cause the bad reviews. However I love my experience here. Soon as I walked in I was greeted, offered water, free chapstick, sunglass, and it was very clean. When I was in the back the dental assistant was so nice and funny. She turned on Netflix for me and the massage chair. Felt more like going to a salon than a dentist office. So this place I am going to for sure tell people about.

Staff is always very friendly and ready to put you at ease and answer any questions. Facility is always well kept and I do love being able to turn on the chair warmer and/or massager!! Highly recommended

The office staff is wonderful and very polite. The dentist is another story. I had my first visit with mint ever and he did a filling. He couldn't do my numbing properly it took 3 shots to get my mouth numb enough to barely tolerate his drilling. After he did the filling I left and when the numbing wore off I felt my tooth. He left my tooth sunken in as if he only filled it half way! I called and they said I'd have to wait a week to come back. During this time I haven't been able to eat or brush it properly. I finally came back and he pokes around my tooth and tells me the pain is normal and he can't do anything for me. That it will be in pain up to 8 weeks! For a filling. I am livid and upset. I can't eat or brush my tooth on one side. It's a sharp pain when I barely touch it but that's normal. They make you sign a " filling work guarantee" saying that if they messed up on your fillings they will fix it at no cost to you it's a scam. Save yourself and do not come here. The rest of the staff was very kind but the dentist needs to improve his bedside manner.

My experience with Mint for the past 4 months has been very rough. I'm in the process of getting a veneer and crown on my two front teeth and there have been constant issues. The issues have consisted anywhere from my permanents going missing, extremely lengthy times to get them back from the lab, and last minute appointment changes 30 minutes prior to my appointment start time. The dentist at this location is however very good he's personable and does listen to my concerns which I appreciate. Seems as though none of this has been any real fault to him. To me they are quick to collect the money but slow on actually providing the best service in a timely manner. Complaints have been made to corporate but it's always the same "oh I'm sorry that happened to you" response. I won't be returning after they are finally seated and I definitely will be warning anyone who plans to receive treatments at this office.

I went in for a basic cleaning. I arrived on time. I waited over an hour for the cleaning to start from the time my x-rays and exam were completed. I was constantly told...it won't be much longer. Then, I felt like we rushed through my cleaning. Very disappointing!

Terrible experience! My first visit was a few months ago. I came to Mint because of the great reviews. I went in for general teeth cleaning and to have a crown. I had a panoramic xray and not just a few more -- I had almost 8 more xrays because the lady couldn't get it right! I was a little upset because I do not need the extra radiation exposure. The hygenist was very spray happy. At the end of my cleaning, my hair and blouse were drenched. That's not all... My temp crown was put on crooked and when I returned to get the permanent crown put on, the dentist said he didn't like it and wanted me to come back to have another crown made. Very Unprofessional! Will not go back.

Worst dentistry ever. Can never get a hold of anyone that works in the office, i always get a call center when I call them. Then when you do speak to someone they are all rude. My appointment was in two days and suddenly I get a text from them that it was removed and to call back to reschedule. When I call to ask why I get a lady that from the start is all rude and yelling at me. My family is never going to this place again it's not worth it.

I feel so bad leaving a bad review as it probably won't change anyones mind. But I wanted to leave an honest review. I went there for an extraction and it wasn't a really good or bad. If I was rating for decoration and entertainment then I would give 5 stars. But Im giving a low score because I was told to pay 5000.00for a bridge and hope my insurance pays for it. I then asked if I could price something temp like removable partials.I was told to pay the 5000.00 just to get the process started. Then wait for a refund. I have been to several dental offices with the same insurance. They give you a full breakdown with pricing. The only breakdown I got was for suggested services. I have UHC commercial insurance, the most expensive plan my company offers. I had not maxed out yet, this was also the most expensive qoute I've gotten out of the 2 dental offices I went to. This seems extremely misleading and like price gouging. I have been to the Spring location and that was 5 stars. Not this location...

Steven is the biggest asset to mint dentistry. His professionalism, attitude and costumer service was the best I've ever seen !!!! He took time to explain all avenues for my dental plan. He is very educated and makes me feel extremely welcomed every time. Please please please do something kind for Steven as he really deserves some sort of recognition. - Nadia Balsha
