I'm embarrassed to say that I have avoided the dentist for over a decade... I've always hated how it felt and the family dentist I saw growing up always made me feel stupid and incapable, so I stopped going as an adult. For years since moving to Dallas I've heard good things about Mint and today I went for my first exam and cleaning. They were understanding, compassionate, and easy to work with. Got me all numbed up and on the nitrous oxide so I could relax and not feel much discomfort at all. Best of all they didn't beat me down and make me feel bad, they simply made professional recommendations for what I can do better. I have several things I need to get done to get my teeth back to the beautiful smile I used to have, but they were very easy to work with in explaining what needs to be done, breaking things up into several visits that will be budget friendly, while prioritizing the more important stuff. I'll definitely be back again, and if you're in a similar situation to me or just looking for a new dentist, then I highly recommend checking out Mint!! I don't regret it and neither will you!

Recently went in and I got the worse service. Went in for a chip tooth to get fixed and was told that I need two roots canals. When I asked for them to show me the cavities I got the run around and they couldn't show me exactly where it was needed. Then someone came in to show me a plan of $1500 and told me that I had to pay at least half in order for the doctor to see me. When I asked about a payment plan I was told that I either have to pay the full amount or half and they cant set up something. I would not recommend being serviced here. Find someone local who cares about your health and not the money like Mint Dentistry does.

Kristen was my dental hygienist at the Grapevine location and let me tell you--she was kind, courteous, professional, and SO gentle! Truly, this was a completely painless experience (which I think we can all agree we need more of when getting our teeth taken care of)! Hats off to Mint Dentistry--your employees truly are top-notch.

The people at the office are nice but I don't like how wrong information was given to me not once but twice from two different people. I didn't want Invisalign's because of the hassle of having to take them off to eat and remember to put them back in. The nurse that worked on me said I could change from Invisalign to braces later on if I decided too. After having them for a month I called to office to find out how can I make the change and was told that I couldn't. So now I'm stuck with Invisalign and I hate them. Today I made a large payment toward my plan and when I asked if my auto draft payment will be adjusted I was told no that the big payment will go towards my last payment. This was not what was told to me from day one. It appears the people in this office lack of training giving out wrong information. I'm do disappointed in there service I wouldn't recommend Mint dentistry to anyone.

My saga began August 9th. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to have her braces removed and teeth cleaned. I go to the appointment. When I get there they tell me they cant verify my dental insurance. I asked why they would let someone come to an office knowing the insurance wasn't verified. I took off work and my teen daughter did too for this appointment. The front desk person attempted to humiliate me by announcing that my insurance verification couldn't be verified and I don't have a policy according to them. I got the insurance issue straightened out. The information was entered incorrectly. I scheduled a second appointment just to see this process through. With the same office who attempted to humiliate me. I call today to confirm the appointment and ask if they know why were attending this appointment. The operator informed me this office doesn't do orthodontics. It was in my notes. It was in all of my paperwork. How come no one told me this up front?? The person I was speaking to said I can transfer you to an office that does orthodontics and cleaning. I get transferred and after spending 15 minutes on the phone with a lady who kept repeating everything I said WRONG then tells me the office only has appointments until 2pm. Sorry. This experience with MINT has been horrible. How you have all of these five star reviews leads me to believe you're paying for them. I would never recommend this office after the treatment received and at the end of the day they don't care about patients. They care about profits. You gotta love capitalism. .

The staff was so wonderful in taking care of our daughter's toothache. They were very attentive and gave us options to have her feeling better quickly. Definitely recommend them!

Kristin is AWESOME! Went for cleaning and decided I wouldn't say anything before my service, because I am always soakedThe skill and precision she used and not A DROP of water on me or my bib! I wish all hygienist had her skill level. It has been years since I have been able to rave about a dental hygienist..Thank you for restoring my faith in Mint

Very disappointed with my visit and this location in general. I waited at the from desk for 5 minutes while a girl on the other end looked at me, and turned around (I assumed she was busy so I sat down) then she greeted and checked in another person who walked in after me. So I stand up again and walk over to her this time to check in after being there 10 minutes without her or anyone else saying a word to me. The guy who did my X-rays was great and super nice and helpful (forgot his name) The cleaning felt veryyyy rushed and was shorter than any cleaning I've ever had. I have been getting 2 cleanings a year for 20 years. The doctor then came in to do the checkup and told me I had some plaque build up on my bottom teeth, that they would take care of during the cleaning...... which had already been done (but clearly done poorly) The assistant told her my cleaning had already been done, and instead of having someone do an actual proper cleaning the doctor just suggested I floss. ?? I'm upset that I left my appointment with plaque build up (that cannot be removed with floss or brushing) bc it is already hardened? I will be purchasing tools on Amazon to do it myself since this was my last cleaning of the year that my insurance will cover. I will NOT be going back

I have been coming to Mint Dentistry Grapevine for about 8 years. They totally changed my mindset about the dentist. It's not this scary place I used to think it was due to bad experiences. When you walk in you think you've walked into the wrong place. It looks more like a spa instead of a dentist office. It's warm, welcoming and everyone is friendly. I especially love Dr. Fisher, Nicole and the other super outgoing hygienist whose name I can't remember. Thank you all for a great experience! LaToya K.

This place is awesome. They seem to do their jobs really well and everyone is super nice. The establishment itself is beautiful. Everything is explained very well and they weren't trying to make me declare bankruptcy to get my teeth cleaned.

DO NOT GO HERE. Dr. Chen should be ashamed of himself... it's pretty terrible that you know your patient population is typically those of no insurance, maybe those who are not financially stable, yet you take advantage and fish for money... That you will permanently alter someone's mouth for the rest of their life to benefit you for some extra cash. And it doesn't seem like he's the only money hungry dentist based on these reviews. I moved to Texas and didn't know a dentist. I heard of mint and went to this location where Chen DO told me I had FIVE cavities. I literally teared up I only had one in my life and am very thorough with dental care. He told me I have deep groves and prone to cavities. Prescribed me a special toothpaste so they wouldn't get bigger and the financial lady came right in to discuss payment plans. They had construction that day and I had to come back for my cleaning - where he must've forgot me because ironically he then commented on how beautiful my teeth were.... Not to mention the lady flossing my teeth jammed my gums so hard and so fast they were bleeding after. I even asked her to go a little softed which I felt bad to even ask I normally would never say anything to someone about how to do their job but it was HURTING. I flinched each time. She said "well we have to get it done. You must not floss". I do. Also they "couldn't find" my necklace I left near their x-ray machine. Sure. ANYWAY Today, I go to a REAL dentist... ZERO cavities. He said he would never step foot in these types of places. Disgusting.
