I had an appointment today to get my teeth cleaned. Last time I went in they quoted me approximately $58.00 and some change. I thought that was a great price and was happy that my insurance covered most of the cost. Today when I went in, i signed some consent forms and then the young ladies at the desk started asking questions like do you still have Met Life Dental. I didn't, so I wasn't going to lie about it. Next thing I know, they give me a whole new quote of around $370.00. I have to plan for plan accordingly if I am going to have to pay a lot out of pocket. I was not planning on it and I have other bills and things going on in my life that are more pressing than getting a deep cleaning on my teeth. When I declined they could have done the basic cleaning I should have gotten last time, except they were in a hurry and ready to go home because it was time to close. Personally, I think that should have finished everything that day. So now I have scheduled out for my 6 month appointment. I feel like they should have honored the original quote because that Is what I ha planned on paying. They original quote was done by adding my current insurance with my previous insurance which brought it to the $58.00ish. I feel like since it was their mistake, that they should honor the original quote. I mean why would I go in and get my upper teeth done one week and then go back the next week to do the lower ones when they could do it all at once. I left the original Mint in Cedar Hill because of their lack of follow through and the fact that I was there way longer than I had to be and received not response to my complaints about that location. That was why I switched to the Grand Prairie location and now the same BS. I am sure I won't hear back from the Grand Prairie location either. I might just have to find a whole new group of dentists to go to all together.

The receptionists, dental technician, and the doctor were courteous and knowledgeable. Oh yes, the heated massage chair was fantastic!

Called 9-15-22 to make a future appointment to get annual teeth cleaning and check. I was scheduled 9-17-22 at 4pm I work mon-Friday 7-3:30pm. She mentioned that if I needed a deep cleaning I want to schedule earlier in the day. Since my work schedule does not permit that I would not be able to do that. I just want to say thank you to Sophia the receptionist who booked my appointment. I feel most people don't take their job serious and most people don't put themselves in other peoples shoes however Sophia had great listening skills and even better verbal skills when it came to book my appointment. she needs to be recognized for that because if I was to come in at 4 PM and expect to get a deep teeth cleaning and turned away that would have ruined my day. I would have been rating this place with a one star review. so MINT dentistry needs to recognize Sophia in her listening skills and verbal communication skills and thank her for this five star review...

I wanted a simple cleaning whatever my insurance covers which they refused. Mint was very proactive in making you sign up for the Smile... L Club 5$ Per pay check. But try to get it cancelled, its extremely difficult. If i am ready to own responsibility for not having a deep cleaning or some other thing done what's their problem. Don't tell me nonsense that if i get my basic cleaning done its going to damage my teeth. Its sheer business and craving for money!

I made an appointment for a regular cleaning & teeth whitening treatment. However, after recommending I receive a deep clean over two appointments, still no teeth whitened. I received a completely different explanation as to why I did not receive on today's treatment. I have a regular dentist I've been with for 10 years. I'm going back to him. I think Mint Dentistry is a scam & would not recommend.

July 13,2022 - NEVER called back! Lies and Deceit! Stay away! Holding my Stars for now! I would really appreciate a call back from management to discuss any additional payments I "might" have considering I have 2 insurances. To be continued... ***Knowledge is power! PEOPLE OF COLOR ask a specific question! Is my insurance in NETWORK? If not they will tell you YES! We accept your insurance which means if it's not in network YOU pay more out of pocket! If it's IN network YOU pay less out of pocket and they are contracted with your insurance company at a contracted rate! PAY ATTENTION! Really thought they they were for us! They just want to take advantage of us and take what little money we have! --1 star if I could!

Mint Dentistry on carrier in Grand Prairie was the absolute best!! I arrived for my appointment, was greeted with a smile and was given all the information I needed. Once in the back the techs were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The dentist I saw was amazing and the person who cleaned my teeth was extremely thorough! Will definitely come back here and bring my family as well!

I typically love Mint this is the 3rd location ive visited. This was my first time at this location and it was very disappointing. My hygienist did not scrape all of my teeth. She did one half of my mouth then moved on. She polished select teeth, about half of them, and only flossed the top. It was obviously a rush job. I had the latest appointment on a Friday and can only assume she just wanted to get me out. I wasn't offered the massage chair either so that was a bummer. I didn't even realize until at the end of my appointment I overheard another patient comment on it. I have never had half a cleaning before.
