Dr. Dennis Benton graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2011. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Benton received a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University. He graduated from Maplewood High School. Dr. Benton was very active in the 4-H program participating in a variety of 4-H projects as a youth,and he even participated as an advisor prior to moving to Columbus to finish his education at TheOhio State University College of Dentistry.

After graduation, Dr. Benton served the community in southern Ohio.He then moved back to his hometown area and made the transition to private practice in 2014.As the CEO of Mint Dental Team, he renovated a well-knownoffice in the City of Cortland formerly known as Dr. Kathleen Burnick.The renovation included remodeling the office and conversion to a digital network.This included converting the existing office into an office that could handle the digital equipment to better serve his patients in the community.Dr. Benton believes that dentistry should be affordable and comfortable.Everything at the office strives to meet these expectations.

As an active member of the Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association and a member of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society, Dr. Benton participates frequently in continuing education events and seeks out opportunities to learn about and implement new technologies toprovide the most current treatment options foryour dental care. Dr. Benton focuses his practice to caring for patients of all ages. He recognizes how every patient is unique in their dental needs and that they have placed a great deal of trust in him and his dental team.

Dr. Benton and his team routinely participate in events in the community.He enjoys contributing to the Trumbull County 4-H program.The 4-H program develops youth throughout Ohio.He also invites local pre-school students into his office every year for February Dental Awareness Month along with traveling to local schools.During February Dental Awareness, he demonstrates the new technology available to provide education in the advancements made within the medical and dental field.In 2018, he participated in the Polar Plunge for Childrens Special Olympics for the first time, and he looks forward to doing the Polar Plunge in the future.
