Dr. Dennis Benton graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2011. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Benton received a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University. He graduated from Maplewood High School. Dr. Benton was very active in the 4-H program participating in a variety of 4-H projects as a youth,and he even participated as an advisor prior to moving to Columbus to finish his education at TheOhio State University College of Dentistry.
After graduation, Dr. Benton served the community in southern Ohio.He then moved back to his hometown area and made the transition to private practice in 2014.As the CEO of Mint Dental Team, he renovated a well-knownoffice in the City of Cortland formerly known as Dr. Kathleen Burnick.The renovation included remodeling the office and conversion to a digital network.This included converting the existing office into an office that could handle the digital equipment to better serve his patients in the community.Dr. Benton believes that dentistry should be affordable and comfortable.Everything at the office strives to meet these expectations.
As an active member of the Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association and a member of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society, Dr. Benton participates frequently in continuing education events and seeks out opportunities to learn about and implement new technologies toprovide the most current treatment options foryour dental care. Dr. Benton focuses his practice to caring for patients of all ages. He recognizes how every patient is unique in their dental needs and that they have placed a great deal of trust in him and his dental team.
Dr. Benton and his team routinely participate in events in the community.He enjoys contributing to the Trumbull County 4-H program.The 4-H program develops youth throughout Ohio.He also invites local pre-school students into his office every year for February Dental Awareness Month along with traveling to local schools.During February Dental Awareness, he demonstrates the new technology available to provide education in the advancements made within the medical and dental field.In 2018, he participated in the Polar Plunge for Childrens Special Olympics for the first time, and he looks forward to doing the Polar Plunge in the future.

Amazing dentist and incredible staff. I have a HUGE (like really huge) fear of dentists and have tried a few in the area. My only complaint is that I didn't find Dr. Benton sooner. If you pick this team, you won't regret it.

My child was in a bike accident and broke his arm and chipped his tooth. They operated on his arm the next day. Dr Benton couldn't see him for a week! These people don't go the extra mile and your a number. My family of 5 had been seeing him from the beginning. In an emergency you are SOL.

Great dentist that I have been seeing for several years now. Great technology...I had a crown done onsite..no waiting weeks like with former dentist. Wonderful hygienist. Everything is explained well. Receptionists are great. Normal wait time from on time arrival to seating is less than 5 minutes. I really like how they remind you of upcoming appointments...by email that you confirm immediately. And then one email reminder right before. No aggravating phone calls. No pushing unneeded services on you which is constant with several other dentists in our area that I experienced before finding Dr. Benton. I highly recommend Dr. Benton and his whole team!

Dr.Benton and his crew are the BEST! I went in not knowing what to expect in the new facility and boy was I surprised, in a good way! Newest equipment, clean facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I went in to fix or possibly replace a crown that fell out. I am Greatful that he was able to fix my existing crown, saving me A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY!!! A special THANK YOU to the extremely professional hygentis (Kasey) who did my x-rays, cleaning and deep cleaning as well. We are elated to have such a great dental team in Niles. From beginning to end you guys are Truly the Best.

One of the best dentist I have been to. Dr. Benton and his team is very friendly and detail oriented when it comes to telling you about your teeth. I have sensitive teeth and I never knew I actually had enamel issues until one of the hygienists told me (was never told at the previous dentist). Also, I also have an issue with a tooth that they are looking closely at and I was never told about it at my previous dentist. My Mom is disabled in a wheelchair and they make her feel comfortable by giving her a neck pillow and a blanket if she needs it. She does not have to get out of the wheelchair to get in the chair because they can move the chair out of the way. The building is also really big for her to move around so they are very considerate of the disabled. The hygienists in general love when my Mom, Dad and I come in because the conversations we have make me feel right at home and they also make me laugh. I would highly recommend coming here for your teeth needs.
