Dr. Jessica Tendero was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to Miami when she was 4 years old. Raised by her mother, Dr. Mayra Betancourt, a dentist; and her father, Dr. Jose Tendero, a doctor, she feels it was destiny for her to follow in one of her parents footsteps. After high school and during her undergraduate studies, Dr. Tendero worked at her mothers practice, where she developed a love of dentistry. She graduated with a bachelors degree in biology from Florida International University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Tendero currently practices dentistry with her mother, Dr. Betancourt, and her sister, Dr. Alyne Tendero, who is also a comprehensive dentist.
Dr. Tendero understands that skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional, she takes many courses on the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the most current treatment options for her patients. Dr. Tendero recognizes that her patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in her and her team. This is just one reason our team values every patient relationship.
Dr. Tendero is a member of the American Dental Association, the SFDA, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. She has studied with the Pankey Institute, the Spears Study Club and is trained in Digital Smile Design, Propel Orthodontics, Juvderm, Botox, and Kybella.

Very professional staff from Diana the office manager to Cristina the Dental Hygienist and Dr Tendero. Made me feel very comfortable and relaxed since I'm very anxious when it comes to Dentist visit. Very thorough a true team in this office! I highly recommend Mint Dental Studio and it will be my one stop for dental care for me from now on!

I can't say enough about Ten Dental Studio (formerly Mint Dental Studio). The Office Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and work with you if any problem arises. The Dentists and Hygienists are professional, honest and very dedicated to their patients. Dr. Tendero is very patient (which is a crucial quality to have in this profession), she's also very transparent, explaining every procedure that will be performed, allowing the patient to make his or her choice based on the information she gives you. After years of postponing routine visits to the dentist due to negative experiences, it is extremely satisfying to have found a good one! Thank you ALL for making a difference.
