I was born and raised in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, where I had the most incredible childhood. There truly is no place like it, the smells, the animals, the food, and amazing people. If you ever get the chance GO!
In 1998 I hopped on a plane for the first time in my life and came to the USA as a Rotary Exchange Student and spent a year at South Medford High school. My plan was to head back to South Africa upon completion of my exchange program to follow a path in medicine but my year here was so amazing and opened me up to so many things I had never experienced, that I decided to stay and go to college here.
I graduated from Southern Oregon University and then went up to Portland where I attended OHSU for my doctorate in dental medicine. After graduating in 2010 I decided to come back to the Rogue Valley and settle down back at home where I am now raising two boys, Elliot and Digby.
Southern Oregon is a gem and I love all the outdoors that sit right on my doorstep and try do at least 2 backpacking trips each summer! I have an amazing community in this valley and love the life I have here. Travel is something I love and Ive been so blessed to be able to go back to Africa multiple times to visit family and get my fix of African soil!

We have welcomed a new provider here at MINT and we are so excited for the chance to offer more patient time and with the best care too! Dr. Warr joins us for a while as we navigate growing and making sure we deliver excellent care to our amazing patients. He is coming to us with years of experience and knowledge and delivers outstanding care with a manner and character that is warm, welcoming and gentle.
Dr. Warr graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2002. After practicing in Utah for six years his family moved to the Valley where they have been for the past 14 years. He has an extensive continuing education background and offers so much to MINT that compliments our practice so well. Dr. Warrs current educational pursuit is a Masters in Business Administration from the Marriott School of Management.
At home he loves spending time with his wife and their three daughters playing games, going on walks, reading books, and watching movies. Dr. Warr also enjoys being outdoors, having summited the tallest peak in the Western Hemisphere and run the Grand Canyon rim to rim to rim!!

Dr. Roa is an active member of the American Dental Association and is currently serving as the Vice-Chair to the Oregon Dental Associations (ODA) New Dentist Council. Being involved in many aspects of the ODA, she annually attends the Dentist Lobby day in Washington, DC to advocate for both patient and Dentist on current issues.

I first started seeing Dr. Roa last year and can confidently say that she is the best dentist I have ever been too. She is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. Her whole dental team is so friendly and helpful, I would absolutely recommend Mint Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Mint Dental is second to none! Dr. Roa and team are ever professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Dr. Roa is up on the latest treatments wether it be restorative, preventative, or cosmetic. We have had such excellent care by her for many years. The new office is stunning, with soothing colors and friendly front office staff. We followed Dr. Roa and her staff from their older location at East Main Dental to her new office at Mint Dental. We are so happy we did! The office is bright, newly decorated and appointed with the latest in dental technology. The Staff is kind and welcoming as ever and Dr. Roa continues in her tradition of expert, sensitive and informed oral care. If dentistry has traditionally been a stressful, beige and dark brown dungeon of old male dentists and overpriced, dismissive care then please do try the caring and holistic approach from the team at Dr. Roa's office. it's a refreshingly modern and exudes expertise.

Mint Dental is a GREAT experience! From the moment you walk in, you feel at peace about going to the dentist! (Yes, you read that right ). Our family has been going to Dr Roa for a few years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. We've always been happy with all the staff and how at ease they make you feel through the whole process. Although going to the dentist might not sound fun, everyone at Mint Dental goes out of their way to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Our entire family has seen Dr. Roa and her team for the past year. We relocated from California and were nervous to have to hunt for a dentist. We love Dr. Roa and her team. Everyone is extremely personable and soft approach to working with each one of our children ranging from 3-10. The office is pristine and love the decor which is extremely inviting. Also, the staff is always friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Dr. Roa for all your families dental needs.
