Dr. Johnny Tran Dr. Johnny Tran is an Orange County native. He spent his childhood growing up in Mission Viejo and is a proud graduate of Aliso Niguel High School. Continuing his education, he received a bachelors degree in Cell and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara. Dr. Tran then attended the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with honors.He distinguished himself while in dental school with the induction intoTau Kappa Omega Honor Society for his scholastic achievements.
Dr. Tran is extremely dedicated to his profession andholds himself to a high standard of excellence.He loves the science of dentistry and has traveled all over the nation to continue his education and learn from the best in the field. Dr. Tran has completed hundreds of hours in advanced training and postgraduate education to provide his patientswith the newest techniques and latest advancements in dental technology.
Dr. Tran is passionate about the overall health and well being of every patient he sees. Our office is designed to provide a serene, modern environment while offering a relaxing dental experience. We want our patients to feel at ease and cared for in every way, says Dr. Tran.
Dr. Tran married his college sweetheart, Jill, an attorney. They are blessed with two children, Harper and Jake. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, traveling, and enjoying good food.

All of the staff here really go the extra mile to make you comfortable and ensure you get the care you need. I was impressed with how much time the doctor took to review my x-rays/scans with me. They were also happy to provide exact cost estimates for their recommended care plan. I highly recommend you give them a try!

Drove 45 minutes to my SCHEDULED appointment just to be told that they could not get ahold of my insurance because they did not want to wait on hold. Then they had the audacity to say I can be seen but I will have to pay out of pocket. Waste of time.

I went here for the first time today. They were so amazing. Sia was so nice and answered so many of my questions before I even went in. Dr. Tran, Sabrina and Sia were all so nice and professional. They made me feel so comfortable. They explained everything to me. I'm definitely going back!!!

Exemplary staff and doctor. I am so pleased with my first visit to fix a chipped tooth. There is no discernible difference and no way to tell the front incisor has been repaired. Everyone kind and professional. I've finally found a dentist to succeed the expert I had for 20 years. Highest recommendation.

Clean, friendly, thorough, thoughtful and professional. We love Dr. Tran and his staff at Mint Dental! Dr. Tran is very knowledgeable in his practice, explains every single detail to you about your procedure and is very gentle throughout. Plus, his practice seems to always have the latest technology tools for the dental practice. Always good to see progressive practices vs. ones who are stuck in time and methods.
