I completed my undergraduate studies at Idaho State University with a B.S. in Zoology. I then earned my Doctorate degree at Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska. Im a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Always filled with anxiety when going to the dentist. However, everyone in the office makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. From the staff personalities to the headphones with your favorite music I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my family and friends.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and they did such a great job. I couldn't even tell when they took out the teeth. I was super nervous and they did a great job answering my questions and helping me feel more calm.

I was with my previous Dental Care for 35 years. When we moved I didn't think I would find anyone that would compare to what I had. Mint Dental is every bit as good as my prior care. Alissa is great, friendly, knowledgeable, and pain free. Dr. Funk is always friendly, asks how we're doing, what we've been up to. Office staff are always friendly and helpful whether over the phone or in the office. Great place to go for your dental needs!

I've always had fear and pain when it came to going to the dentist. I had a dental emergency and called a couple of dental offices. Mint Dental saw me right away and PAINLESSLY took care of my teeth. That's so important to me. I just moved here from Ohio. I'm sure I found the best dentist. No more fear or pain when I go to the dentist. Thank you Mint Dental.

Dr. Funk and his staff are the best. I always feel in good hands with him and Lisa. They are very caring and it is sincere. The office staff will do their very best to get you right in if you have a problem. Dr. funk always does his own follow up calls (sometimes several calls) to see how I'm doing and how my pain level is doing. He has done all kinds of work for me: routine fillings, crowns, bone grafts, and dental implants. He's so patient and helpful and worried about my comfort. He explains everything in detail and answers all your questions. I highly recommend Mint Dental Care.

Mint Dental is the best! They take care of our whole family! When I go and get a warm neck wrap and parafin wax, it's like being at a spa! Love the friendly staff and Dr. Funk. They take the time to know us personally.

Love both the dentist and the staff at Mint Dental. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. I'm so glad I decided to try them after my mom's recommendation. I love that you are offered a heated neck pillow and a paraffin hand dip at each routine cleaning, which is a close as I get to a spa day in my busy schedule. I see my same hygienist each time and she is the sweetest. We always chat about our kids who are the same age and all of their recent sporting events. She is also very gentle, one thing I always hated about my previous dentists office is that my gums were so sore from their aggressive gum health checks. Never have that issue anymore. The dentist is very kind and thorough and he takes his time with each patient. He's not old, stale and impatient like your typical dentist. He's young and fun and his office always has fun swag and giveaways and coffee/ water/ tea available. Just an overall enjoyable experience! And I love the chapstick they give you!

Dr. Funk and his team are truly the best! They provide compassionate care. I felt all my questions and concerns were answered. Any anxiety I had prior was completely alleviated. Heidi is amazing and was so gentle! You truly feel like part of the "family" with this team. 100% recommend Mint Dental!
