After years of experience working in different dental offices across the country, I wanted to open a dental practice in Sunnyvale, where I could truly put patients' needs first and foremost. My goal with every visit is to provide the best level of comfort and service possible. I want every patient to leave with a smile and a good feeling.
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Following high school, I moved to Detroit, Michigan to attend an accelerated dental education program at the University of Detroit Mercy. There, I received both my Bachelors of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. This is also where I met my wife, Michelle. Together, we moved to the Bay Area in the fall of 2016.
As a general dentist, I providecomprehensive dental carefor a wide range of patients with varying needs. My greatest source of accomplishment comes from being able to help patients. I especially enjoy providingemergency dental carefor the community.
When not with patients, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Currently, most of my free time is spent running or with our two corgis, Dragon and Kona. Ask me how I ran a half-marathon a little over 2 months after completing my first 10K.

I am usually really nervous about going to the dentist, and I was nervous about this visit but it went extremely well. My hygienist Navreen was so amazing the whole time. She explained the whole process to me, was walking me through everything she was about to do, and was super gentle and nice. She talked to me about my oral health and even taught me how to floss the right way. In my previous visits with other offices, no one has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable like Navreen did. I am looking forward to more cleanings with her!

My hygienist Jerika is amazing! She is friendly, explained every step clearly, and patiently instructed me to improve the way I brush and floss. I felt comfortable and relaxed doing my teeth cleaning here. Dr. Andrew is also super nice! He helped me adjusted my teeth treatment quickly based on my concern. I will definitely continue my treatment at Mint Dental.

I had such a great experience at this office. The staff and doctors are very friendly and well educated. My hygienist Navreen took her time to explain my dental health to me and did a great job with my cleaning. Everyone at this office made my experience amazing and the TVs on the ceiling made my experience more enjoyable.

I decided to have a teeth cleaning in Mint Dental Care because I moved to Sunnyvale and it turned out to be a very unpleasant experience. I requested if I can waive the x-rays and gum exam as I already have all the data in my previous dental care place. They rejected with a reason that doesn't make sense. As the lady seems not familiar with her job, she took an hour to do the X-rays and gum exam! After that, the Doctor told me sorry, your appointment is only 75 minutes and you have to make another one. Are you kidding? After the gum exam, they ask me to do a deep cleaning, which I already had one last year, so it won't be covered by my insurance. I asked if it's okay to just do a normal clean and they rejected it again. I decided to go to another dental place and requested them to send my x-rays and exam results. They told me I have to pay $45 for this! Until now I understand why in the first visit survey, there is a weird question asking something like "if you ever complained about a dental care place"? I have never, and thank you to make me to write my first one!

Both doctors are top-of-the-line professionals. Treatment and follow up care have been exceptional. They are knowledgeable and thorough in explaining issues and dental strategies, and gave me plenty of time to consider options. The office exudes a positive vibe and the staff look like they enjoy being there.

My positive experience started before I even walked into the door. I called the office to make an appointment but had some questions since I just got my braces removed. Dr. Michelle answered all of my questions patiently and had a lot of great recommendations. When I went to my appointment a week later, I was greeted by the very friendly front desk staff and got my treatment done by Dr. Michelle. Not only was she nice over the phone but more so in person! She even took the time to explain what she was doing and why she needed to do it before she proceeded with anything AND gave me great recommendations for after care. I will definitely be getting my twice a year cleanings and rest of my dental work done here !! 10/10 totally recommend !

My hygienist is one of the best I've ever had! She was thorough, attentive, and careful. The practice has high quality equipment leaving me with cleaner teeth and a clear picture of my cavities. My first impression of their Dr's was that they're trustworthy.

Felt very comfortable and well-informed here from the very first visit! I had never had to have fillings before, but after experiencing some sensitivity and pain, they saw me within days despite me being a new patient and had my required fillings scheduled and completed within 2 weeks of the initial visit! The experience was as pleasant as a dental filling can be -- short, effective, and painless. Highly recommend!

Best place to receive dental treatment. Both my husband & I are patients of Mint Dental in Sunnyvale. Easy to register as a new patient. Dr. Andrew & Dr. Michelle were great. They took time to explain our treatment & took such great care of us. We finally found our dental care team in Bay Area. Highly recommend Mint Dental.

Bad service. Have you wait a long time. Have a dental issue? Doctor don't care. They cant even floss properly. Go somewhere else. Incompetent people here. Stay away.

Friendly, professional, and just a great dental practice. I've been seeing Dr's Andrew and Michelle for the past few years - I think since they first opened. I have seen the practice grow and I am happy to say they still have the same great service and professional care which I have come to expect. I honestly, would not go elsewhere. Thank you!

I wanted to transfer to a new dentist because the quality of the filling I got from them was not as good as my previous dentist. But Mint says they charge $45 to send my xrays to the new dentists?!!! Even though I only need a few particular pictures, Mint says they sell all as a bundle?!!! To sum up, for whatever reason if you want to transfer out, you have to pay $45 to get your xrays.... My old dentist was more than happy to forward my xrays to my next dentist with no charge. I've asked around my other friends, they also have never been charged....It is so sad that i have to pay because I'm not happy with the treatment and wanted to transfer out...
