Dr. Hoffmann completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Minnesota after graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is alsoa member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society.
Dr. Hoffmann is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists and has also been recognized several times by both the Mpls/St Paul Magazine and Minnesota Monthly Magazine as a 'Top Dentist.' Dr. Hoffmann is passionate about volunteering his services throughout the twin cities and abroad, being honored with the MDA Humanitarian of the Year award, the WCCO Good Neighboraward, and the ADA International Volunteer award. Recently he was recognized as the Guest of Honorby the Minnesota Dental Association at the Star of the North Dental meeting.
Dr. Hoffmann enjoys practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in oral tissue grafting, dental implant reconstruction, tooth repositioning and transplantation, and temporomandibular joint surgery.

Dr. Rahimi saved me after 6 weeks of horrible pain from several other oral surgeons! One hour with him and finally pain free. I love this guy! Highly recommend!

Dr. Hoffmann is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. Not only is he very professional but he is very compassionate, patient and gentle. He took as much time as I needed to fully explain my options and patienately answered all my questions. When I asked for his advise I felt he was advising me as he would advise his sister. Without qualification I recommend Dr. Hoffmann.

I was able to get my wisdom teeth removed the next day after my initial consultation! The staff and Dr. Hoffman were attentive and accommodating to my needs every step of the way. The procedure was painless and I had very little discomfort post surgery. Dr. Hoffman is amazing!

I actually enjoyed my tooth extraction! Dr. Hoffmann performed it so professionally, explaining what he is doing, and my poor cracked sanded off wisdom tooth was out before I even had chance to brace myself. When I thanked him for extraordinary smooth extraction, he answered with a humble smile, "Oh, I was doing that for forty years".

Doctor failed to perform any new radiology to diagnose symptoms which would have been helpful. In addition doctor Hoffman was dismissive of my symptomology; my rating even a one star was generous.

I was quickly schedule at this office to have my wisdom teeth removed. For someone who has never gone under nor had any major surgeries I was quite the nervous wreck. Dr. Hoffman and all his staff made me feel less anxious when I went in the first time for my consultation, then when I went in for the actual surgery it was very quick and hardly any pain. I want to thank each and everyone one that was evolved in my procedure for making it less of a scary experience.

Dr. Hoffmann and the staff made me feel very welcome. I was nervous getting my wisdom teeth removed, and had no idea what to expect. They ensured me that everything would be alright. I am one week-post wisdom teeth removal, and I am healing perfectly!
