Very disappointed that your office could only recommend an Orthodontist that you are affiliated, which is in Broward county and we live in Lake Worth, FL.

Please be advised this dentistry is charging a fee for pediatric patients to receive standard healthcare. I did the leg work and called the dentistries around and they DO NOT charge a fee on top of regular dental checkups. While inflation is impacting everyone, a $5 facilities fee per patient is not standard practice.

So, to quote the owner of Mini Mouths below, "We sent out a mass email to all of our patients a month before the charge went into effect and put notifications around the office. We have not raised our fees since we opened in 2013 and unfortunately our costs have increased over 500% for just our disposables. The 5$ fee is to help defray some of our increased costs. Compared to everything else that has increased in price in all of our daily lives, the 5$ fee is a small price to pay for the care we deliver to your children." Some of us have suffered ten fold due to rising costs. Rising costs of gas, food, and shelter just to name a few of our necessities that we use daily. Our income has remained the same. I'm a Medicaid patient, meaning, that this pandemic has caused my family to become poverty level. To charge patients walking in a few, AND refuse to see a CHILD for a necessity such as dental care over $5 (small price as you are quoted) is a shame and shows how much you value care for our children. I came in today myself, and was told everyone was notified. Let alone to find out, you have had the wrong email on file all along and still I wasn't offered an apology for the inconvenience. I'm sure your costs has risen, and in that, you charge our insurance companies more as well. Some people can't afford dental care because of how high and absurd the costs are. Did you suffer during the pandemic? Sure. Did the common person or middle class suffer? Yes ten times more. Some of us are homeless, do you know that as we walk in to get our children the dental care they need? No, you don't. Sadly, some people are making a LOT less than you, OWNER. I can guarantee that. No, I don't need your response. Your response to justify yourself. Thank you anyway.
