Dr. Rohit Narayan received his undergraduate degree from the Manipal University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious New York University. He completed a one year In Masters of public health also from East Tennessee State University. He was the clinical assistant under his mentor at New York University where he helped the junior class in clinical procedures. He has devoted significant time to teaching and clinical mentorship. During his dental training, Dr. Narayan did several rotations in New York hospital and won the award for his clinical acumen. Dr. Rohit Narayan is an active member of the American Dental Association .

He has attended mission trips to Guatemala with a multidisciplinary teams to provide dental care even under exacting circumstances. He performs services in all facets of Dentistry and dental implantology, but he has a particular interest in the field of oral surgery. He has attended numerous seminars on this topic. He also has been a sponsored attende for Southwest Dental Conference. He puts emphasis on proper surgical protocol for maximum patient comfort. Dr Narayan has been placing dental implants and he uses technology for diagnosis and treatment. He has 3D imaging and digital workflow. He will help determine the correct treatment for each patient, whether that is a sealant on an erupting permanent molar or implant supported overdenture prosthesis.

Dr Narayan prefers to use natural materials when grafting patients. These can be donor materials or from the patient themself. For patients who desire to use their own tissue, a newer technology called L-PRF is available that requires a simple blood draw to process graft materials without the need for surgical harvesting. Communication and trust are key components to a good doctor patient relationship. He spends time explaining to patients what their needs are and options for treatment, then helps craft an individualized plan to meet their needs. He understands that he is treating a person, not a dental issue, and tries to create as pleasant a dental experience as possible for his patients. For patients who are anxious about dentistry, Dr Narayan is certified in sedation. Laughing gas, oral sedatives, are offered as best suits the patients needs.

He lives with his wife Mona, son Siddh, daughter Saanvi.Coming from a military family we understand the sacrifices made by the brave men and women. When hes not working, he often is spending time with his family at VR gaming with oculus or performances with his daughter, at dance competitions or working in their garden with his wife or at the park taking long walks. Dr.Narayan also enjoys playing indoor games, cooking, reading, and adventure travel. Dr Rohit and family love time at beaches in Cancun and weekend adventures to the countryside.

I'm not sure why this is posting With my sons account but this is Amy Davis and I had my tooth pulled yesterday by Doctor Olivia and I had to make a review. She was a great Doctor I'm 43 but Going to the dentist office still makes me nervous and yesterday my heart was racing uncontrollably and Dr Olivia was very gentle and comforting . She talked to me through it all and I highly recommend her. Her and the staff was great.

Don"t bother. Pretty much like the other bad reviews. I would never get anymore than a filling there. She was in way to much of a hurry and not friendly at all.

My mind is still absolutely blown away with how great my appointment went today! I have neglected going to the dentist for quite a few years now, due to not having great experiences in the past. I wholeheartedly appreciate the Doctor and staff that helped me have this great experience today! Thank you!!!

Took our daughter to see Dr. Olivia at Mineola Dental. It was our first visit and everyone there was really nice and helpful. Our daughter had to have a tooth pulled and Dr. Olivia was so good and kind with her. She rubbed her face and said we did it! It's done! I was truly impressed and thankful that she was so kind and gentle with her. We will go back!!

They did my wisdom teeth this past summer for the first time, I was extremely nervous but they made the whole procedure very well and professional. Melissa was my dental hygienist that day and I highly recommend her! Nice and professional staff. Great team!

Very disappointed. I went in with a broken/infected tooth and 2 hours later left in more pain than before. I actually had a needle stuck into the nerve twice! I was told that it was necessary to remove the tooth. Well, needless to say the pain was excruciating and the tooth remains. I was told they would make an appt with the oral surgeon, then informed me that there 1st available was week away, really! I left and called the 1st oral surgeon on Google and got an appt for the next day. They actually charged me for the torture!

This practice opening boosted Wood County's health ranking! Mineola Dental is a great community asset that brings access to care for families on CHIP/Medicaid who previously had to travel to south Tyler for dental care. They also take most major PPO's, many local employer's benefits, and se habla espanol. My son said it didn't hurt because they use a tiny power washer.

Today was our first time at Mineola dental. Knowing I had all my kids needing a check up, getting mentally prepared for all the paperwork I was going to fill out... I was honestly dreading going to the dentist today. I took my 1yr, 3yr AND 6 yr lol. On the other hand, I was very please and Impressed on how quickly they did my paperwork and saw all three kids (X-rays, cleaning, and full checkup) they had a full staff that was friendly and very hands on. We were in and out in a very quick, timely manner. Thank you Mineola Dental.

First impressions mean a lot, but the staff here has been super kind to work with EVERY TIME we have been up there. Always pleasant, always patient. Isabell (sp?) has been especially sweet to my children and I very much appreciate that. Great group of staff!

I'm suprised this clinic has as many positive reviews as it does. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic. Very helpful and informative. Couldn't say the same for the dentist and nurses/assistants that we had. Also couldn't tell you the name of the dentist we saw, as she never introduced herself. I'm assuming they were having problems getting the images they needed for my son's xray since she had another lady come in to do them after trying herself. Assuming because of the lack of communication, even after asking what was going on. Dentist never explained what she was doing. My son told her twice that she was hurting him. She was being very rough with the cleaning. This place is advertised as kid friendly. Screens in the ceiling might make it "kid friendly" but not if the dentist isn't gentle. We ended up waiting over an hour after she said she was going to have someone go over a treatment plan with me. We walked out at this point. The only thing keeping this from being a 1 star review is how helpful the ladies at the front were while checking in and making the appt. Update... Son woke up this morning with red marks around his mouth and on his lip.

Dr. O is the latest addition to this practice and she is really great with kids. She is also good with really immature adults. I found the combination of Dr. O and happy gas to be the right recipe to catch up on neglected dental care.
