A transplanted New Yorker for the last 36 years. I completed my dental studies at New York University Dental School in 1981 and did a family practice residency at the Lakeside VA hospital in Chicago. Too many continuing education classes to list. I am extremely proud that I became board certified in Integrative Biological Dental Medicineand Naturopathic Medicine through the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry in July 2015.
I am a University of Cincinnati graduate Class of 2013. I've been with Dr. Munowitz for over five years and have thoroughly enjoyed experiencing and learning the holistic approach to patient's care. I'm a west side girl born and raised. I love spending my free time with my family including three nieces and two nephews. I'm in love with my career and look forward to continuing to give the best care possible to my patients!

I was overdue for an appointment and they worked me in before the end of the year to help me keep my teeth healthy. I am always made to feel welcome and appreciated every time I visit! The friendly staff are so helpful and accommodating when there are special schedules or needs. They always work their hardest to find mutual solutions.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly. It is good to have an excellent holistic dentist to take care of my needs. I can feel confident what she puts in my mouth is not harmful and they do a super job cleaning teeth. I definitely would recommend Dr Mindy and her staff.

From the time I walked in & until I left everyone was very helpful, kind & professional. The hygienist cleaned my teeth better then I have ever had them cleaned, truly. She explained everything before she did anything. Which was good, because they did things very different then any other dental office I have been to. I really really liked that the office was ran holistic. Which I have a big believe in. From the purifier right by your face to the mouth wash etc.! It was extremely clean & neat. The waiting room & exam room. I love Dr Mindy Munowitz. She was very professional, listened to everything I had to say, gave me a great visit & her medical advice without any pressure on what I should to do for my next appointments & she was extremely kind. When I checked out the women was very kind, spoke slowly & explained everything I needed to know about the payment & next few appointments. She also took her time. I never felt rushed at all. I would highly recommend this dental office & of course Dr. Mindy Munowitz!

My first visit was amazing. I came in for a consultation - a second opinion. Turns out I Do not need the work done as suggested by another dentist. I also have a horrible gag reflex and the prior dentist would try and shove bite wings in my mouth to the point I would almost throw up. Dr Munowitz and her team were gentle and kind and we were able to use kid bite wings to successfully get bite wings. The energy of the office is wonderful today. Quiet, comfortable, and pleasant. I highly recommend this office. My whole family will be transitioned here ASAP.

I have been going to Mindy Munowitz, DDS for dental services for years. First, I enjoy their cleaning method being more gentle as they start with the toothpaste brushing and then working gradually to the scraping method. I also have a bite guard that they have serviced/replaced. X-rays are straightforward. That's a summary of what I typically need and this office has great people as hygienists and receptionists.

I have been a patient of Mindy's for several years. I can't say enough good about her services. Mindy and her staff have brought my smile back and removed all the lead fillings from the early 1960's and repaired the rest. She also helped my husband by replacing his horrible cheap dentures. This Dentist's office is bright and cheery and uses the most current tools and homeopathic remedies available. Highly recommend!

The experience at Dr Munowitz was great from start to finish. If you are looking for great dentistry, especially if you are looking for holistic practices, Dr Munowitz and her staff are amazing. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable. My hygienist was very thorough and explained everything as she went along. Dr. Munowitz was very positive and encouraging. I'm glad I found her practice.

Dr. Mindy and her team were kind, gentle, super knowledgeable, and honest. My husband's chronic Lyme has led to a myriad of gum/teeth issues and we have been through so many dentists looking for someone who truly understands our holistic approach to health... Dr. Mindy is it. The dentist we saw just prior was recommending over $10,000 of dental work for him, which Dr. Mindy kindly assured us was absolutely unnecessary. We also found out several of the fillings we have received by previous dentists were unnecessary. We left her office with a plan we all felt comfortable with. I should mentioned we drove 2 hours to see her and it was worth every mile!

I was as happy as possible with my experience in needing some filings near my receded gum line. Dr Munowitz and her kind assistant worked with great skill, efficiency, and compassion. I appreciate that Dr Munowitz uses ozone to cleanse the area prior to applying the mercury-free filing material. I was comfortable throughout the procedure and given chamomile tablets to reverse the numbing effect when it was over.

I've been a patient for the past few years now. Best teeth cleaning I've ever had. I started seeing Dr Munowitz when I had issues with gums. Her team fixed it. Dr. Munowitz and her team did some fillings and replaced my front crowns. I am so greatfull that I found this office. Thank you so much for fitting me in when I have an emergency!
