Dr. Naz has been practicing cosmetic and surgical dentistry in Dutchess County alongside his wife for 8 years now. Living in only major cities (New York City and Dhaka) he embraced the Poughkeepsie area like a breath of fresh airliterally. Dr. Naz's dedication to his patient's well-being grows from his love to help others look and feel their best. He truly treats his patients like a member of his own family.
Dr. Naz loves the continual learning process of dentistry and is always excited about new dental technology and how it can make an even greater dental visit for his patients. He believes that life is not only about what we have, but how we can use what we have to help others and make a difference.
Dr. Naz, when not cooking new recipes at home with his daughter and son, loves taking them and his wife to enjoy the local fare at some of our amazing restaurants. Although Reading and watching football were his favorite pastime before starting a practice, he now adores teaching his children how to cut out pictures...while watching football (or Daniel Tiger, whichever the season it is). Dr. Naz also loves philosophical books and fantasy football, so be sure to ask him which author is currently inspiring him and which players made the cut!

Dr Naz and his staff are very professional and extremely friendly. They go above and beyond to provide a great experience. From their thoughtful cleaning "goodie" bags, to their well timed reminders, I can't recommend them enough

Mindful Dental is the best dental care one could hope for. Dr Naz & Dr Rocha and staff are compassionate, patient and truly caring. I've had the absolute best experience every time, even when everyone was too scared to venture to the dentist in a pandemic: they've gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe and well cared for. I've been to many dentists, no one has ever matched that level of compassion and professionalism. Don't look further : they are the best !

Dr Naz is an amazing dentist! I had a throbbing toothache and he was able to squeeze me in same day and get it taken care of. He is very gentle and genuinely cares for his patients. His staff are very warm and welcoming as well. 100% would recommend them to everyone!

You will not find a better team!!! From the front desk to the dentist. Mindful Dental is the most friendly, clean, and safe practice in the area. Very patient orientated and up to date technology makes your visit pain free and happy with the results. I have been a patient for years and simply will go no where else. Keep up the god work.

This was a really great dentist experience. Staff very friendly. Little wait time. Cleaning was far less bloody than I'm used to. Finally, for the work I needed done, the dentist was excellent. I am impressed with the entire experience.

Dr. Rocha and Dr. Naz are wonderful ! Such professionals and they are the nicest people! Would highly recommend them - they make you feel totally comfortable being at the dental office and their office makes you feel at home ! I've been going to Mindful Dental for years and would not go anywhere else ! Thank you Dr. Rocha & Dr. Naz !

Nice dentists. I am not in their dental plan and it takes forever to get your payment money back from them if your insurance does not participate in their dental plans. The group belonged when I first started. In good will, they could have honored my JJ Stannis dental plan rates as an old customer. Everytime I go for a procedure I have to call and remind them weeks later to credit my Mastercard. I told the office that I would be changing offices because of this money issue. Of course, they all want payment at time of service .I don't think they care about losing patients.

Dr. Naz and Dr. Rocha take time with every member of our family to carefully discuss our dental options, including phone calls outside of regular appointments. In the office, they are calm experts who provide thorough and skilled care. All of the dental hygienists, dental assistants, and office staff are universally kind, responsive, skilled, and helpful. We travel some distance to visit Mindful Dental, and it is worth it -- a consistently wonderful experience for which we are very grateful.

Nice dentists. I am not in their dental plan and it takes forever to get your payment money back from them if your insurance does not participate in their dental plans. I love this dental practice! All staff are extremely kind, friendly, and efficient. Both Dr Naz and Dr Rocha are very gentle and clever. I have had quite a few different procedures done and each time I am pleasantly surprised how painless and perfect it was. I wish I had known them long ago.
