Dr. Budd was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Fullerton, CA He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and received his dental degree from UCSF in 2008. Dr. Budd married his college sweetheart who grew up in Carson City. After dental school, they returned to Carson City where they live with their 5 children. Dr. Budd also enjoys taking advantage of the beautiful outdoor activities that our area has to offer. When he isn't at the soccer field on weekends or tending to his garden and berry bushes, you can usually find him with a fishing pole in his hand or hiking boots on.
Dr. Budd gave 2 years of service with the National Health Services Corps at the Community Health Alliance Wells Ave. Clinic in Reno, NV. After his 2 year service commitment ended, Dr. Budd continued on at the clinic for over 5 years, eventually becoming one of the dental directors of the program. In March of 2014, Dr. Budd made the decision to give his full time and attention to Minden Dental after 3 years of being part-time.
Dr. Budd is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, the Northern Nevada Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Budd is the recipient of numerous awards, including awards for outstanding professional ethics.
Dr. Doxey was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. Shortly after graduating high school, he spent two years serving in the Orlando, Florida area as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He received his bachelor's degree from Southern Virginia University, where he enjoyed playing on the soccer team and serving as student body president. However, he couldn't stay away from Florida for long and returned to to attend LECOM School of Dental Medicine in 2015.
Dr. Doxey has received awards for academic achievement, ethics, and service and is dedicated to providing the highest quality care while ensuring an enjoyable experience for all his patients. He loves meeting new people every day and loves to work with children. He looks forward to meeting you and your loved ones!
Dr. Doxey loves being part of the Minden Dental family and making the Carson Valley home with his wife and four boys. They love to spend family time camping, hiking, paddle boarding, and star gazing in these incredible Sierra Nevada mountains. If you're ever out on the trails, keep an eye out for Dr. Doxey running or biking!

A while back I was looking for a dentist to have three teeth extracted and ended up with Dr. Doxey. I knew little about him and had reservations and was thinking of cancelling. Everyone I talked to recommended I cancel, including my former retired dentist. Just about every one felt since he was not a Dental Surgeon, he was too young, concerns about my being on blood thinner, and various other reasons. I was on the verge of cancelling. but the day before the procedure I talked to Dr. Doxey and came away very impressed. I decided to go on with it. After I was in the chair a short time he said it was out. I thought wow, that was fast, I hope the next two go that quick. Then, I found out it was all 3, not just one that were out. I could not believe it. There was almost no pain, little bleeding. Couldn't ask for a better extraction. That was pretty impressive. I just recently had another extraction -- Same result, quick, no pain, no bleeding. The procedure was very professional. All the post-procedure has been exceptional. We have really been on the same track in deciding what the next steps will be, with no pressure from him. Don't know where you would find a better dentist.

Minden Dental has been wonderful. Had a tooth issue over the weekend. Talked to them first thing Monday morning and they got me in two hours later! That is customer service when you need it. Doesn't get any better than that. I would highly recommend them!

My old dentist closed up shop due to COVID so it took about a year or so to find a dentist. Really happy with the service from when you walk in to scheduling your next cleaning. Best cleaning I have had. My teeth feel nice and slick again. They use pretty nice ultra sonic cleaning tools that are pretty quiet. Anyway, looking forward to a long relationship with then. Thx AA
