Every patient has a unique background and situation, which makes our interactions fun and educational. Its special to listen to our amazing and talented patients tell usabout their lives: I learn something new from their experiences and stories thatinspire me to be a better person and dentist. When I was in high school, I was tripped during a basketball game and broke one of my front teeth in half! My dad, Dr. Dave, was able to both get me out of pain and fix my tooth: I found the experience to be amazing and realized I wanted to help others in the same way. Now I have the opportunity to help people through dental care and I get to work alongside my father every day!

Our team members put our patients first in all we do. We have a passion to serve others, and a willingness to do all we can to make people comfortable, help them understand their dental situation and treatment, and offer a listening, non-judgmental ear.

I am constantly taking continuing education courses in order to stay on top of current ideas, procedures, and treatments. These courses are a great way to explore new equipment, evaluate techniques, and expand my knowledge and skills. Ultimately, continuing education is about enhancing the patient experience and delivering ever better results.

I am active in local and state dental organizations, attend many meetings, lectures, and seminars each year, and participate in dental study clubs. Im also a Clinical Participant in testing and analyzing new dental equipment and volunteer as a mentor for prospective dental students.

I am involved in local mentoring programsfor youth interested in the dental profession.Its been a pleasure to mentor kids who have a passion for dentistry and oral healthcare, and have helped many pursue their goals.

I also volunteer in our church, supporting many community events and projects including feeding the less fortunate, free dental treatment days, and holiday events. Additionally, I volunteer at my kids school, coaching their sports teams and offering dental health lessons.

My wife Jennifer works in insulin pump medical device sales with Medtronic. We have two amazing kids, Owen and Emmarie, who are active in every sport they can work into their busy schedules. Depending on the time of year, youll find our family at local fields, courts, pools, or golf courses!

Dentistry has provided me the opportunity to meet and befriend many people over the course of 40+ years in the field. I value the friendships that have grown with my patients and their families, many of whom have been coming to the practice since it opened. I appreciate the trust and loyalty of those people and am honored to see and care for multiple generations in many families.

I knew I wanted to be a dentist when I was young. I pursued that dream and have been rewarded with an amazing career. Now I have the amazing opportunity to practice with my son, Dr. Al, as a father and son dental team!

We have a wonderful group of dental professionals at our practice, each dedicated to enhancing the oral health of our patients. The blending of my practice, and that of my son, into a single team has been rewarding. We are privileged to have a group of highly-trained, compassionate staff to facilitate each patients experience and deliver warm, friendly dental care.

The best care of our patients is our prime mission at Minahan Dental; ongoing education is the key to us staying current with evolving trends and techniques in dentistry and ensuring were providing the most up-to-date options.

I complete many hours of advanced study, in a broad range of dental topics, each year. I take courses and attend lectures and meetings locally, regionally, and nationally. I am also a 40 year member of a local management study club for dentists.

Over the years Ive been an active volunteer with the American Dental Association and the UW School of Dentistry. Ive had the honor of serving as President of the Washington State Dental Association, as well as the UW Dental School Alumni and Deans Club groups. Currently Im completing a four-year term as an ADA Council member, serving at meetings in Washington, DC.

My wife Susan and I have two adult sons, Greg and my partner in the practice, Allan, who live in the area. Weve been blessed with two active young grandchildren, Owen and Emmarie. With all of us living close together, we are able to enjoy many family and youth sporting events.

When not hanging out with family, Im often found at the golf course, pursuing my passion for the sport. Travel, tagging along at farmers markets and walks around Green Lake with my better half, and most spectator sports, occupy a lot of my free time.

I absolutely love being a dental hygienist. Getting to know my patients and helping them achieve optimum oral health is my top priority. It is my goal to design an individualized home-care routine that is realistic and achievable. I am very passionate about my job as an educator and get way too excited when I see improvement in my patients oral health.

I grew up on the Hood Canal, playing sports, camping and boating for most of my childhood. In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, WA. Shortly after, I started my career with Minahan Dental. I feel very fortunate to work with two dentists who share my passion and focus in patient care.

I spend my free time with my soon-to-be husband, Austen, and our giant fur baby Millie the Mastiff. We love taking road trips, golfing, playing on our co-ed slow pitch team, and spending time with our families.

I am a Native to Washington and enjoy hiking, kayaking and golfing. During the summer I enjoy wine tasting trips to Chelan. I am passionate about dog adoption and share my love with my fur-baby YogiBear the Corgi.

I truly enjoy every facet of my position and find it a pleasure to talk with and build connections with our wonderful patients. My days dont feel like work. I feel privileged to be an integral part of the Minahan Dental Family.

I am a Seattle native and now live on a farm where I raise and show top winning Irish Wolfhounds, Corgis and Spanish Dressage horses. I am a huge fan of jazz and am passionate about Seahawk, Husky and Alabama Football. I am currently learning to be a wine snob too!

Outside of work, I enjoy time with my husband of more than 30 years, Bruce. We bothtreasure time with our adult daughter, Melissa, whos a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Outside of the office I enjoy hiking, bowling, shopping, movies and trips to the casino!

I was born in Mt. Vernon, raised in Spokane. I attended Spokane Community College for Dental Assisting and moved to Seattle in fall of 2000 to pursue my career in the dental field.In 2005, I became a DANB certified dental assistant. After 12 years in the field, I took a break from private practice to work for the dental clinic at Seattle Childrens Hospital. During my time there, I was able to further specialize my skills in treating children with special needs and working alongside world renowned specialists in the dental and medical fields. In 2013, I went back into private practice and joined Dr. Als team.My personal mission as a dental assistant is not only to assist Dr. Al, but to also be there to make our patients as comfortable as they can be while in our chair.

I am one of five siblings, and love spending quality time with my nieces, nephews, family, and close friends. I enjoy walking/hiking around Seattle, taking small group personal training classes, cooking/baking, photography, painting with acrylics on canvas, listening to livelocal music and taking cruises to Alaska. I also own a pure-bred ragdoll kitty named Sophia.

I am married to someone who loves travel and adventure as much as Ido! We share a one year old son, Hudson and a doxie named Milo. In additon to traveling, I love spending time outdoors (hiking, biking, camping,paddle boarding) and being with family and friends. I have been practiing dental hygiene since 2006 and have been working with Dr. Al since 2012.
