I grew up in Milton and graduated with the class of 2000. I then attended UVM to earn my Bachelors Degree and completed my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008 at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.

After graduating from dental school, I decided to return to my hometown of Milton to forge my new career. In 2008, I joined the team at Milton Family Dentistry and in 2012 became the practices owner, solidifying my future in the amazing community in which I grew up.

I have been very fortunate to have such a wonderful and experienced team to work with. Our team is a wonderful group of people who really care about our patients. They all poses superb skills and enjoy working with patients so that they get the best care and outcome possible. Our practice offers a professional and personalized family atmosphere where we go above and beyond to make sure all our patients oral health needs are met.

It has been great to see so many familiar faces from the community I grew up in, now as patients. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to meet and welcome our neighbors from around Chittenden County to our practice.

One of the things I find most enjoyable about dentistry is helping patients restore both aesthetic and function to their smiles. Identifying the source of the problem is my specialty, followed by a comprehensive, priority based plan that suits my patients needs.

I first came to Vermont for undergraduate studies at Middlebury College in 1991 and knew that I would want to make this beautiful place my home. After earning Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies, I moved to North Carolina to complete my post-graduate studies. I had decided after a rotation in Bristol, Vermont that dentistry would be the perfect career to combine my love of sciences with my interest in visual arts.

I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. During this time, I was able to gain additional experience with internships at the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. A highlight of my dental education was a two-week trip to Mexico where, with a group of students, I provided dentistry to children at the Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos Orphanage in Miacatlan.

I continued to build on my educational experience through a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at the former Fletcher Allen Healthcare, now known as the University of Vermont Medical Center here in Burlington. Excited to be back in Vermont, I worked closely with oral surgeons and other specialists caring for orofacial trauma and hospital in-patients, as well as performing general dentistry at the Community Health Center. During that time, I met my husband, a Vermont native, and settled into life in Chittenden County.

Joining Milton Family Dentistry in 2002, I was welcomed by a great team of supportive staff and a warm family of patients. I have grown to know my patients and their families over the years and can't imagine working anywhere else. Everyone has their own interesting story and I feel fortunate to spend time with patients and connect while delivering dentistry in a caring environment.

When not at work, I am usually carting around my two daughters to their extracurricular activities, volunteering in their school, and trying to find some time in there for my own art. My family loves to travel but we also enjoy the beauty of Vermont in our own backyard!

I was born and raised in western Illinois and attended the University of Illinois for my undergraduate studies. I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loyola University in Chicago. After practicing for three years in Chicago, my wife Cheryle and I moved to Milton in 1976, where I started Milton Family Dentistry, the towns first private dental practice.

Since selling the practice in 2007, I have continued to see patients on a part-time basis. Having met so many families in the community for so many years, I have enjoyed keeping in touch with old friends and helping with their dental needs. It is always a pleasure and a privilege to visit and catch up with folks I've known over the years.

When I'm not here at the office, my wife and I enjoy keeping up with our three children and six grandchildren. Fishing, golf, woodworking, motorcycling, and travel seem to fill up what spare time is left after the usual home maintenance projects.

We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

I graduated from Vergennes Union High School in 1982. I took home study courses and received my diploma for secretarial studies. I have also taken courses in communications, bookkeeping, selling financial services, security and robbery workshops, and computer courses. I started working at Milton Family Dentistry in September of 2000. This office has provided me with so much. I love my job because of the patients, because I am always learning new information, and am able to help others.

I grew up in Colchester, Vermont and attended Champlain College while working as a pharmacy technician at Fletcher Allen Health Care. In 2003, I decided I wanted to work more closely with patients instead of behind the scenes and started my dental hygiene education at UVM. I graduated in 2005 from VTC and have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Milton Family Dentistry since that time. I enjoy working with patients of all ages and the relationships I've developed with people I've worked with over the last 11 years.

I started working at Milton Family Dentistry as a dental hygienist in September of 2013 shortly after graduating from Vermont Technical College. I love my career because I get to meet so many people and get to know them on such a personal level. On top of the social aspect of this career, I also love what I do because providing education to others could potentially prevent many dental diseases from occurring. Knowing that I can help better the oral/overall health of even just one person makes me happy!

I grew up locally and Milton Family Dentistry has been my own personal dental office since I was a child. I think it's pretty cool to be able to work at the same place I grew up going to! Living locally still, I enjoy my new home with my boyfriend and two dogs! I love to be outside and enjoy activities such as kayaking, gardening, fishing, and exercising!

I graduated from UVM School of Dental Hygiene. I now work part time, but I have been with Milton Family dentistry for many years! I enjoy working with all ages. When a patient responds positively to treatment and education I have provided, it makes me feel I helped them achieve a happier and healthier smile!

I graduated from Center for Technology, Essex in 2010 on the National Honors Society. I went on to participate in the Skills USA competition where I received a gold medal for state and a silver medal for nationals. I started working at Milton Family Dentistry in December of 2009 and have been employed there ever since. I really enjoy being a dental assistant, as I never know what the day will bring or the patients I will meet.

Dr. Cedric Pecor and his staff are excellent at their profession. They make you feel comfortable, are honest and do an excellent job. Today they rebuilt a broken tooth with no pain whatsoever.

Jackie, Amber, Sarah. Dr Pecor, and Zach, are so friendly and helpful and make you feel like a valued customer upon the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. I had to get a temp crown today, not something most people are excited about but Sarah and Dr Pecor were so gentle and comforting and supportive the two hour process flew by! I've been coming here since I was a kid and have no intention of leaving and now being my own kids here! Thank you Milton Family Dentistry!

I had not been to the dentist for years, and finally decided I needed to get back on the horse. All the staff I have worked with has been very friendly and gentle with me teeth. If something hurts they will immediately stop and improvise their plan. Dr. Cedric Pecor is very knowledgeable and just all around a nice person. Doesn't do any of the typical doctor guilting about not coming frequently enough, or habits that could be improved. If you haven't been in a while and have been avoiding it because you're scared of the judgement, I strongly suggest you see if he is accepting new patients. They do both 4 and 6 month cleanings depending on your needs. And both the old school cleaning with the metal tools, and ultrasonic scaling.

Milton Family Dentistry did an amazing job! Kasey cleaned my teeth in a very timely manner and was very informative and educational on how to prevent issues and maintain a healthy smile. Dr. Pecor was also extremely nice, informative, and positive of my current and future dental health. Highly highly recommend Milton Family Dentistry!

Dr. Fitzgerald, Sarah and I spent around 2 hours together yesterday getting me ready for a new bottom plate. They spent the extra time (including their lunch time) to save me multiple visits down the road. I really appreciate their time and energy in doing that for me. Plus we had a few very funny interactions and Sarah picked happy music for the visit.

I've been going to this practice for 25 years. Mary, my dental hygienist has kept my teeth well maintained, with few dental work. I'm so sorry to hear she's leaving, but I love this place, and travel an hour to go there now, because of how good they are! Strongly recommend them. Deanna

My family is new to this practice. We love the personalized care we get at Milton Family Dentistry compared to our experience at a much larger practice. The staff, hygienists, and dentists take time with each of us to explain our dental needs. The hygienists are very thorough while being gentle and considerate. We are very happy with the care we have received and I highly recommend Milton Family Dentistry practice.

We have gone to Milton Family Dentistry for a few decades now! Our children are grown and out of the house and we continue to go there. They are always warm, friendly and kind with whatever our dental issues are. They are great at listening to your problem or doing a routine cleaning. I highly recommend them to families as well as to anyone else looking for reliable, trustworthy dental work.
