I fail to understand how a Dentist will not accept insurance and wants the total fee up front. To me, when you have insurance, it should be accepted. Apparently, he over charges and thinks his work is better then anyone else's and he shouldn't have to accept a lower fee that the insurance bases on reasonable and customary. I have looked else where and will go elsewhere to someone who actually accepts insurance and cares about the patient.

I had to have a root canal but needed to change the schedule due to other circumstances. Dr Milne's office was understanding and accommodating. Dr Milne's is an excellent dentist, and I have confidence in his care. The root canal was taken care of professionally and throughly. His assistant is also excellent. I appreciate that they work very quietly and efficiently. His office staff is helpful and courteous. I returned to Dr. Milne because my previous experience was also good. I highly recommend Dr.Milne.

I had a root canal done by Dr Milne. Couldn't believe how smoothly everything went. Dr Milne is the very best with this procedure. Very thorough, gentle, and efficient. The office is spotlessly clean. Dr Milne's assistant was calm and professional. Overall this was a very good experience.

If you need a ROOT CANAL and I hope you don't, this is the place to go. Dr. Milne is excellent. His staff is excellent. Believe it or not, the pain killer shots don't even hurt. The expectation is the worst part of the entire experience. I say five stars for this Dr. and his office.

Dr. Milne and his staff are very knowledgeable and experienced. They are very friendly and make the patient feel comfortable. No one looks forward to a root canal treatment, but if you need one, I recommend Dr. Milne. I received a call the next day to check up on me. Very caring...the office is very clean and orderly.

This is a long story but I will try and keep it short. Side note: We have Aetna insurance. Tooth: 1st upper right molar (LR First Molar) I had a cavity back in 2015. Got the cavity done by 1st Advantage Clifton Park. Started feeling sensitive to hot and cold immediately after the filling. Went back. Dentist did "something", I'm not sure what that was, maybe he took the filling out and tried again. Still sensitive to hot and cold after this. Figured I'd live with it. At that point I decided I didn't like dentists because he didn't fix me or give me advice. I went a year before trying a new dentist. Found Dr. Ruckert in Clifton Park. He is awesome. On first appointment he says, "You need a root canal" :( He refers me to Root Canal Experts (out of plan). Root Canal Experts want to charge me $1500 out of pocket after insurance. No way. I deal with the pain. We finally, and I mean FINALLY after searching in my area, find an Endodontist in Kingston, NY (we live in Waterford, NY) who accepts my insurance. They call insurance for me and give me a price, $316. Next they say "hey we have a cancellation, can you make it here by 8am tomorrow?". I say "Heck yeah I can". I drive out there. Staff is super-friendly. Fill out the paperwork, couple x-rays, doc looks at them, comes in to see me, nice to meet you, fixes my tooth, no pain (other then the normal needle pinch to numb my mouth), and I'm out of there. I think I was there 20 minutes in that chair. Pleasant. Great bedside manner. Professional. Clean. He gave me a script for the infection and some pain meds. Here I sit, 3 hours later at work. I feel normal. Way to go Dr. Milne!

What an experience... the whole office was wonderful everyone was so nice. They had to reschedule an appointment for an hour earlier then originally planned and they sent me home with a Duncan Donuts girt certificate. Who does that? Dr. Milne has hands of gold and a heart of gold. Him and his entire team treated me with respect and care, no judgement. I needed surgery not only was he careful to recommend the right Dr. he and his staff stayed open after hours so my daughter could pick up records and assured my Daughter everything was going to be ok. He also kept in close contact with the oral surgeon. I highly recommend Him and his entire team. Thank you Dr. Milne and your team!
