She also completed her undergraduate studies at UF with a major in microbiology. She is a huge GATOR fan and has fallen in love with the city of Gainesville so much so that she has decided to practice here in Gainesville.
Dr. McDonald was born in Pensacola, Florida, the cradle of aviation. She comes from a military family and relocated to a new adventure every five years, living in many areas of the country as well as overseas in the Philippines. Of course, traveling has become her passion and she is always planning for the next holiday or family vacation.
Dr. Spooner was born in Colorado, but raised in Citrus County Florida. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Nutritional Science. He went on to graduate from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry.

The staff at Millhopper Gamily Dentistry are very friendly & welcoming. I really appreciate that Dr. Spooner is very through & explains what I need in order to have the best outcome for my dental needs. Finally found a wonderful Dental practice, that are honest and trying to save you money. Best kind hands that work on your teeth. On top of that, the front desk staff are amazing and the billing department is right on time submitting claims. Left my old good dentist because of their Billing Department terrible practices. My entire family has switch to Millhopper and they all have praises about everyone they come in contact.

I was so pleased with the employees and service at Millhopper Family Dentistry. They made my first visit so comfortable, especially for someone who has anxieties. They are knowledgeable and caring. They explain everything where you can easily understand and encourage questions if you don't. Definitely a 10/10 from me.

Dr Spooner is great! His staff are kind and patient. He really makes sure that the new tooth you get fits correctly and looks good, even if he has to remake it. I highly recommend Millhopper Family Dental and Dr Gabe Spooner.

Every appointment I've ever had at this practice has been a positive experience. While going to the dentist is not something most of us look forward to, the wonderful people that work at Millhopper Family Dentistry are amazing. They are kind, helpful & compassionate. I've been seen by Dr. McDonald & Dr. Post. Both of them are wonderful dentists.

Amazing dentistry. Staff is friendly and very skilled, I don't have pain when I go here. They're always accommodating with questions and concerns, I learn something new every visit without feeling embarrassed. Traci is amazing and makes me feel welcome each visit. Take care of your teeth .

This is the best office in Gainesville. Their hours are so accommodating and all of the staff is absolutely wonderful. I saw Natalie for my cleaning and Dr. spooner for my exam. Both were fantastic!

A very welcoming and non-clinical environment. The Hygienist's are very personable and are encouraged to use advanced methods for cleaning that are easier on the patient and them.

I've been going there for years, and I can't imagine a better, more well-run, more comfortable practice. Their evening and Saturday appointments are wonderful for working folks and school kids. Both Jenna and my dentist were exceededingly kind. Jenna got my teeth cleaner than anyone in past 60 yrs, HOWEVER, using the caviltron she attempted to deep clean a new pt in one appt. Incorrect! Yes, teeth looked great but mouth bled like Niagara falls for days & w/ much pain. I do appreciate her advice as to GUM soft picks & sensodyne but believe this should hv been a two appt cleaning and absolutely give the pt a head's up as to pain, blood, etc.... New dentist explained the pain & bleeding. & exposed tubules= pain. Much better one month out.
