'Working so long in this field has led to many acquaintances and friendships that have become very meaningful over time; while doing my best and trying to make a difference have always been my primary goals.'
Caring for peoples teeth and gums makes their mouth healthier, and a healthier mouth means a healthier, happier life. Being a dentist allows me to restore health, and giving people a nicer smile makes them smile more, which makes everyone happier. What other profession allows a person to have such an impact on the lives of so many individuals, every day? I cannot imagine doing anything else.
Ive been practicing dentistry for more than 30 years. The profession runs in my family: my father and uncle were both dentists, and three of my cousins are currently practicing dentists. Seeing how much fulfillment my father and uncle received from the relationships they built with their patients inspired me to enter the field.
I particularly enjoy the bonds that develop between those I care for and myself. When they share the stories of their lives, and include me in their circle, I feel honored. Im particularly drawn to providing dental care to children. Their curiosity and interest in everything is energizing, and I am glad I am able to help them learn to appreciate the importance of oral health. Dr. Camillo F. Fontana

Bonding with patients and letting each person know that she and our team care about them as a person, not just their teeth, is important to Vicky. Shes been with the practice since 2008 and spends her days providing individual care to our patients. She cleans their teeth and performs other hygiene duties, but her main focus is on patient education. Helping a patient learn how to make healthy decisions, establish good habits, and keep their mouth at its best, are all essential, because a healthy mouth means a healthy body.
