Dr. Kathleen Abate is an accomplished and experienced Advanced General Dentist. She graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with awards in Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry in 1994 as well as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
She then completed a 1 year Internship Residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital where she gained experience surgically placing implants, advancing her skills in oral surgery and her knowledge in medicine.

Dr. Kathleen Abate, DDS PLLC is unlike any other office you've ever encountered. As soon as you enter the Lobby, you'll smell the refreshing aroma of lit candles. The Lobby looks more like a cozy living room than a waiting room with beautiful rugs, leather couches, hanging chandelier lighting, a mood-relaxing fish tank and the ambiance of a flaming fireplace.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Abate and her staff. My teeth have always been one of my insecurities, and having children back to back didn't help my dental health. Now, I am finally able to start to get my health in order and have received amazing care from this clinic. Will forever come here

Dr. Kathleen is the absolute BEST! She works with excellence! We bring our entire family here and won't go anywhere else. Dr. Kathleen has done fillings and crowns for us! We highly recommend her! Staff is super friendly and it's so easy to make an appointment!

The staff at Millennium family dental are great, and Dr. Kathleen is AMAZING. She takes her time to really listen to us which I appreciate. All of my children actually love going to the dentist because of her. She always makes them feel special, and safe. So glad we found her!

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! Scamming in dentistry is unfortunately very common and this place is no different. I am healthy, mid-twenties & have gone to regular cleanings since a child. Never have had any issues regarding my teeth. My first couple appointments here were your average cleanings and the staff was very kind, but that changed drastically fast. It started when I was told I needed a crown & a possible root canal (even though I was not experiencing any pain and the tooth visually looked fine). I thought this was strange, but I've never had any reason to not trust a dentist before so I went with it ($300+). 6 months later, I was told that I had 7 cavities that needed immediate filling. Not one, but seven. I was not given many details as to why I would have so many out of the blue. This made me feel extremely uneasy and thought it was absolutely ridiculous. I decided to get a second opinion somewhere else and my gut was right. I had no sign of cavities even beginning to form given that I am healthy, brush twice a day and floss regularly. I am not sure if they were trying to scam the insurance company or money out of my pocket, but I can't even fathom that somebody would do this. Dental work is not cheap and definitely should not be taken lightly. Millennium Dental is extremely unethical and abuses their position of authority to scam patients. I urge you to proceed with caution!!! Please do not go here.

The staff here is amazing and Dr. Abate & Jackie stayed extra late for me. I came in as a new patient and part of my front tooth had come off while I was flossing earlier that morning and I was self conscious about it. They fixed it perfectly and were just amazing. I've already recommended this place to my brother and dad who also need a new dentist. They will not disappoint.

I had a really nice experience with the Dr. and Nora, they are both very professional and kind. I had a tooth extraction done and it wasn't painful at all. The office is neat well organized. I 100% recommend Millennium Family Dental

Dr.Kathleen was beyond nice and professional.Simply gorgeous from outside to inside!! Office manager Jacquelyn super professional, insanely nice and answered every question I asked!(even help put my necklace back on) The doctor assistant I believe Nora(sorry if that want her name) but she was so gentle, so sweet, and showed me so much compassion! Front desk Sheila(sorry if I made her name up) smiled and made me feel like I was a patient and not new at all!! Overall the entire staff was beautiful souls inside and out!! (Everyone is really pretty)

I went for the first time to this office last week and had a great experience. I've always hated going to the dentist and always felt put down in a way, didn't feel an ounce or that with anyone here. Today I took my 3 year old to her very first dentist appointment. Everyone and I mean everyone was far above amazing with her. It's only been a few hours and she can't wait for her next appointment with them. So happy she had an amazing first time experience!

The staff and Dr. Abate did a great job! I needed xrays for my wisdom teeth to determine an issue I was having. What really stood out was the exceptional service Jackie provided, she was awesome... I felt like I could've talked to her for hours!
