Dr. Creath was born and raised in Southern California as the oldest of ten children. He attended UCLA as an undergraduate student, then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Creath completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and The Childrens Hospital of Alabama. He also earned a Masters Degree while at UAB. After completing his studies and training, he became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Childrens Dentistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he taught dental students. He was later invited to return to UAB to teach dental students at the University as well as Pediatric Dental Residents at the Childrens Hospital of Alabama. Dr. Creath moved to the Cincinnati area in 1994 and has been in private practice ever since.
Dr. Creath has participated in dental mission trips to Mexico, Peru, and Jamaica. He has published over 25 articles and book chapters in professional journals and textbooks, many having been reprinted in other languages. He was selected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honorary Dental Society and is included in Marquis Whos Who in America. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Ohio Dental Association, among others.
Dr. Creath, and his wife, Debbie, have one son, Andrew. Dr. Creath enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, and woodworking. He serves in his church as an Elder, a worship leader, and a Sunday School teacher, among other activities.
In our practice Dr. Creath promotes two overriding principles. First, we have an emphasis on preventive care for oral health. Utilizing patient education and specific dental products, we desire to see each patient grow up with little to no dental disease. Second, we prefer to treat children with such virtues as patience, gentleness, kindness, and benevolence. This means we utilize time rather than pharmacology as much as possible to help guide the behavior our patients through their dental experience.
Our professional staff has many years of experience in pediatric dentistry and is dedicated to making sure you and your childs encounter with pediatric dentistry is a pleasant and positive experience.

I've been going to this office since I was little and they've always been my favorite. I had an appointment recently, and it was my first time going out with my newborn daughter. As soon as I got in the chair, she started to fuss and cry. The amazing staff came in and got her happy and settled down. It was an incredible experience and I felt taken care of in a way I hadn't experienced before. No one was bothered by the cries, everyone was focused on making sure my daughter and I were comfortable and taken care of.

I love this Dr! The Dr and staff make you feel very comfortable! From previous work experience as a dental assistant for 9 years I will say he is just amazing! Took awhile to find a good dr, so happy we found you!!

I couldn't have been more pleased and impressed with our service from Dr. Creath and his staff. It was my oldest's first experience ever at the Dentist and she was smiling the entire time. The staff was so sweet with her and Dr. Creath was incredible and super personable. It's no wonder why he's specialized in pediatrics! Seriously amazing, to top it off they gave her toys after the visit as well, which was the icing on the cake for her. Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff what more could you ask for!

Great with my son. Started seeing Dr Creath when he was 18 months. We never have to wait long at all, and even if we have to one day there is sooo much to keep him entertained. Always feels like Dr knows us even though he only sees us 2x a year! Excellent place!
