Dr Rensch has been practicing orthodontics for over 25 years and still looks forward to helping create beautiful smiles and great bites. He loves working with our patients and their parents, supported by an incredible team, and alongside exceptional fellow orthodontists. Dr Renschs goal is to find the most efficient, comfortable, and economical way to get each patient to the smile they desire. He will spend time talking with his patients and their family, learning what they want and what their concerns are. Then Dr Rensch will review the possible treatment options and, together, determine the right course of care. Dr Rensch feels it is essential his patients are actively engaged and invested in their treatment. He believes this keeps patients excited about the process and gets them the best result.

Dr Rensch loves the hands-on nature of what he does, and the time he has to develop a personal relationship with each patient. He states it is a joy to see the improvement in a persons bite, aesthetics, and self-confidence! He feels he is truly blessed to work in such a special field with a phenomenal staff and improving patients lives every day.

Throughout the year Dr Rensch completes many hours of continuing orthodontic education. In addition to attending local, regional, and national meetings, he also participate in conferences and seminars, as well as worldwide literature reviews.

When not in the office, Dr Rensch loves being active. Dr Rensch competes in local and national pickleball tournaments, plays soccer, takes karate classes (4th degree black belt) and golfs. He enjoys fishing with his Dad in South Dakota or Canada and loves spending time with family andfriends at his cabin in Mora, MN on Knife Lake.

Dr Rensch is a member of the Companion Program through the Knights of Columbus at church. He volunteers to visit a friend at the nursing home at least once every two weeks. Dr Rensch feels showing someone love and support is a great way to help and strengthen our community.

Dr. William Becker is a skilled, gentle orthodontist. He works closely with his patients and families, finding care solutions that work for their unique situation. Emphasizing the most comfortable and effective treatments, Dr. Becker creates a good bite and beautiful smile for each patient. For him, having a patient who is proud of their smile and achieving that milestoneis the greatest personal and professional reward.

Dr. Becker was a clinical assistant professor for 15 years part time at the University of Minnesota School of DentistryDivision of Orthodontics, where he taught the graduate residentswhile also practicing in private practice. He now works full time in private practice.

Believing that education does not stop at graduation, Dr. Becker regularly participates in continuing education opportunities. He attends many lectures, seminars, and meetings to remain current with the latest techniques and technology. This ensures his patients have a better treatment experience and incredible smile results.

A native of New Hope, MN, Dr. Becker has lived in Ramsey since 2002. He enjoys spending time with his wife Paula and their families, as well as time at their lake cabin in northern MN, biking, kayaking, cross country skiing, traveling, and reading to learn new things.

Dr. Kyra Iwen is always eager to start on the journey towards a beautiful smile with her patients. Witnessing her patients excitement, from their first visit to the day their finished smile is revealed, and sharing in their anticipation, is her greatest reward.

Dr. Iwen understands that each patient has unique desires and concerns, so she works closely with her patients to design a treatment plan that fits their needs. By tailoring every step of treatment, and having her patient involved throughout the process, she ensures they have a positive experience and finish with a healthy bite and a beautiful smile.

Dr. Iwen started practicing dentistry in 2008. While she enjoyed the variety of procedures in general dentistry, she found herself increasingly drawn to orthodontics. In 2012 she returned to school, at the University of Minnesota, for her orthodontic residency.

During the year, Dr. Iwen actively pursues continuing education opportunities so that she can provide high-quality and efficient orthodontic care to her patients. She attends formal continuing education meetings on numerous dental and orthodontic topics, learning from the nations leading clinicians and researchers. Shes also a member of a local study club that brings together dentists from all dental specialties to collaborate on complex patient cases that require a multi-discipline approach.

A native of Rochester, MN, Dr. Iwen now lives in Arden Hills with her husband and three young sons. Outside the office, Dr. Iwen enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time at their cabin. Her family is outside as much as possible, letting their boys burn off their endless supply of energy!

Starting at their first visit, Dr. Crary makes every effort to establish open, clear communication with his patients and their family. After reviewing the patients specific situation thendiscussing concerns and goals,a tailoredtreatment plan is prepared.

Reviewing every detail, including options, Dr. Crary makes sureeach patient understands what to expect and what is required to achieve a successful outcome.During treatment, he provides regular updates, encouragement and support ashis patients develop the great smile they deserve.

An engineer by training, hes found the perfect application for his love of problem solving and his eye for design. He's known for his high standards and the gentle, genuine compassion he shows to every patient.

During dental school and post-graduate orthodontic residency, Dr. Crary received numerous awards in academics, research, and leadership. He takes great pride in knowing he has risen to the forefront of orthodontic care and technique. For Dr. Crary, creating beautiful smiles is his specialty.

Dr. Crary was born and raised in Minneapolis, in a family of four. When notcreating beautiful smiles, he enjoys being outdoors. He can often be found camping, kayaking, on the golf course, scuba diving or tackling a home improvement project. He has become increasingly intrigued with woodworking. He built the fish tank cabinet in our Anoka office as well as several other useful cabinets in our offices; ask about it next time you're in!
