Dr. Kasha strives to provide an exceptional level of dental care to her patients with the most state-of-the-art equipment and expertise available in New Mexico.
I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a dentist, and I cannot imagine my life in any other field. I am passionate about helping my patients improve their oral health and achieve beautiful smiles. I not only love the physical aspect of my job but I also love that it allows me to build personal relationships with my patients as we tackle dental health objectives together.
I graduated with a bachelor degree in Biology from Loyola University in Chicago. Then I attended Creighton University College of Dentistry and graduated in the top five of the class, winning many awards. As the last step in my education I completed a general dentistry residency at UNM where I achieved proficiency in numerous specialties in the field, including treatment of patients with severe developmental disabilities or complex medical issues.
I strongly believe in lifelong learning and challenging myself to master new skills and the most effective treatment options available. I am a fellow and a member of the International Dental Implant Association as well as an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. I am also in the process of finishing my fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
I moved to New Mexico with my husband Luke, a pharmacist. We loved the weather and lifestyle in New Mexico and quickly knew it was where we wanted to establish long-term roots. We are so happy to be raising our daughter Maya and our son John here. Along with our boxer Maximus, our little ones keep us constantly entertained and busy!

I was born and raised in Upstate New York specifically Rochester, NY. I obtained my undergraduate education at the University of Rochester, a bachelors degree in biology. During my time at the University of Rochester, I was able to study abroad in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia. This is where my fascination with travel started. I took a few years off to work and travel as much as financially possible. I explored Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean. I was then accepted into the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2009. I graduated in 2013 with my Doctorate in Dental Surgery with two minors, one in pediatric dentistry and one in periodontics. I then moved out to Albuquerque New Mexico for my studies at the University of New Mexico, Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. There, I was trained in advanced surgical techniques, managing/treating patients with compromised health, hospital dentistry, pediatric dentistry, as well as comprehensive dentistry. During the past 2 years I have been attending the world renowned Kois advanced dental training program in Seattle. I anticipate graduating later this year, as one of only 2 dentists in New Mexico.
I currently reside in Albuquerque, NM. I enjoy the sunshine (big change from New York), fishing, sailing, snowboarding, camping, traveling, and scuba diving. I also play the saxophone and raise chickens. I look forward to providing top-notch comprehensive dentistry for all of my patients with a calm and relaxed demeanor. With a dedicated focus on providing honest, thorough, and down to earth care for my patients. I am excited to meet you, gaining your trust, and working together towards your optimal oral health!

I came in for a replacement of a crown, which had me rather anxious. I am blown away by the gentleness and care of the team. Dr. Kasha wiped away all fears. She explained every step of the procedure and empowered me many times to take the lead, should I need a break. I have never experienced a needle insertion without pain. None here! Dr. Kasha's patience of administering the anesthesia is the secret. I got a tour behind the scenes, witnessing how my crown was manufactured right in front of my own eyes, in their inhouse lab. The friendly atmosphere of the whole practice team is palpable everywhere. I feel so grateful to have found a dentist I can trust.

Dr. Khalsa and her team provide excellent dental care, including preventive care and home maintenance feedback, in a nurturing and friendly environment. The office is kid-friendly, a definite bonus for parents. If you're looking for someone you can trust, this is it.

I had a wonderful experience at Milagro today! The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I have extreme tooth sensitivity and Garrett (dental hygienist) went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable through the cleaning. I look forward to working with their office again!

My dental visit was great. Dr. Kasha thoroughly examined my teeth and mouth and answered all my questions. Laura Martinez, who has been my dental hygienist for approximately 10 years, continues to do an excellent job in cleaning my teeth and setting future appointments, and Samantha does an excellent job with my Invisiline. I have total confidence in the Milagro Dental staff members and am so glad they are my dental health professionals. They are truly the best I have ever experienced. 10-12-20: Just had another dental check today, and Milagro Dental continues to provide top notch service. The staff provides conscientiously safe dental service and are very pandemic cautious. I continue to have the up most confidence in their phenomenal care. 6-27-22: Milagro Dental staff are the best. Dr. Ujda and her staff have great expertise and care deeply for their patients. They make a concerted effort to educate their patients and focus on preventive care. I am quite fortunate to be in their care and highly recommend Milagro Dental for family dental practice.

The dental work is excellent, the staff is friendly. However, I have been very frustrated with communication between staff and patients. For example; 1) Setting up appointments in a timely manner to support my needs has been extremely difficult, it is a 4 month wait for most services. 2) I have arrived at the office and checked on the proposed procedure and found that they had documented the wrong teeth to be worked on. 3) It is important to check costs before agreeing to procedures. 4) It is difficult to actually get a call back from the dentist to discuss issues. 5)I have had services (digital x-rays) to be sent to lab and the staff had no idea that they had been done so they wanted to do them again which meant a 5 hour drive for me. Luckily, I tracked them down and they had them sent to the lab late. 6) After a month's notice to complete lab work, still no results which may result in cancelling further dental work at Bonita. Let's hope not!! Very frustrating but will continue visiting this office with the hope that these issues will be improved.

It is a pleasure to deal with everyone at Milagro! I just had 2 crowns removed and replaced in one visit. From start to finish, it was painless and stressless for me, with much more attention to detail and much better results (a perfect bite) than earlier work on the same teeth. Even the necessary wait time was easy, hearing the buzz of a happy workplace around me (and iPhone in hand.)

Short review: I love everything about this place! It's warm and inviting space, every single staff member that I interacted with were wonderful, and I can't say enough about Dr. Kasha Ujda. She's the best dentist I've been to. Long review: I was seeing a dentist about 30 minutes away and decided that I wanted a dentist closer to me. While I was looked, I ended up with an issue with one of my teeth and needed to get in sooner rather than later. The receptionist was able to get me in within 2 weeks, which was perfect for me. When I arrived I was surprised by how pretty and comfortable the lobby is. It feels very warm. The staff that greeted me were so nice and professional, which is no easy fete at 7am. Once the dental assistant took x-rays (she was so nice as well!) the dentist came in and introduced himself and let me know that I would need a crown, which did not surprise me considering the state of my tooth at the time. Unfortunately there was not enough time to do it that day. As I was walking out to schedule a new appointment, one of the other dental assistants ran up and said that the other dentist - Dr. Kasha Ujda, just had a cancellation for a crown and offered me his time slot! I was so appreciative. I was so blown away by Dr Ujda! She was so kind and really took her time explaining everything. I really felt confident in everything that she was saying. Even though she squeezed me in as a favor, I did not feel rushed. I was able to ask her questions about other issues that I am having - home aligners that I feel are hurting my teeth. She took time out to explain the issues that come along with these products and how it may permanently damage my teeth. She then had me schedule a visit for an exam, in order to set up as a new patient. I was so happy with the entire experience! I highly recommend Milagro Dental!!
