Dr.Mikkelsenhasover 30years of experience practicing general dentistry. The main concern is total integration of periodontal health and restorative function.Aestheticsare a large part of modern dental practice, but only when the foundational structures will allow it. Our new patients receive thorough screenings for cancer of the oral cavity, radiographs for unseen or untreated disease, and periodontal evaluations for long term stability of the dentition. It is our goal to treat to a maintenance standard, not just an emergency or disease care standard. Once a patient is healthy in maintenance, dental care is usually a breeze.
My office manager, Shannon, has more than adecade of experience with front office and treatment planning coordination. She is well versed in insurance programming, and will do everything she can to help you understand and maximize your benefit. You wont find a more knowledgeable or friendly individual on administration side of a dental practice, and we are lucky to have her with us.
