Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.

The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

I have been going to Midwest Dental since the office opened. The people are so warm and friendly. I have always been very pleased with the work they have done! My mother in law,98, who has passed, was also a patient and was treated so wonderful! Love the high tech equipment!! Keep up the good work!!

I had a very good experience at Midwest Dental with my exam, cleaning and xrays. I waited less then 3 minutes before getting called in for my appointment. Very friendly staff.

We have gone to Dr. Sethi for over a decade, for our first child's first appointments and continue to do so. We love the staff there, I appreciate that they recognize all of us and our kids and know their history. They are the best with kids too, from the calm ones to the hyper ones, young go-getters and us adults.

I was a patient there for about a year and a half and was unimpressed throughout my experience. My hygienist was very slow (first appointment took over 30 minutes just to take routine x-rays and appointment took over 90 minutes total even though I had zero issues with my teeth/gums), and my dentist seemed more interested in chit-chat about subjects he cared about than he was with looking at my teeth and respecting my time. I also found the front office staff to be lacking; they charged me incorrectly for routine care and lost documents that I had completed and signed for them, which I was lucky to discover on my own because they never reached out to inform me of their error. I'm glad I've had significantly better experiences with other dental clinics previously, because if I thought they were all like this I would never want to go back to the dentist again.
