Midwest Dental - General dentist in Twin Lakes, WI

Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.

No really, just dont. Weve all seen someone open a bottle with their teeth. An amazing feat? Nope, but a great way to cause micro fractures in your teeth. Using your teeth to rip open potato chip bags or to crush ice are also no nos.

The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.

There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

Very friendly and professional! They were able to get me in quickly after volunteering to see if any appointments were going to cancel. I appreciated the extra effort! Amy, Skylar and Doc T.J. were excellent to work with from start to finish! Solid 5-STAR recommendation again, for this entire team. Thank you, Eric Greskoviak

I had a dental emergency and I was seen within 24 hours of my call. I found all I encountered were professional and respectful.

You need a consultation and xrays prior to scheduling a teeth cleaning. Who has that kind of time? Cancelled our appointments and will find another dentist office that has realistic cleaning and xray procedures. This SCREAMS taking advantage of insurance money. Beware.

The entire staff is awesome. They are very personable and informative. They do a great job of explaining what they are going to do, how they will do it, and why. Cannot say enough about the treatment you get there.

Service and care for patients has declined significantly since franchising with Midwest Dental. I used to love my dental office at Dr Kaskes with such a level of attention and professionalism, and have been going there for 15 years. Sadly, today the office is more focused on making quick money off people and expanding patient numbers as fast as possible. Every Dr and Hygenist is constantly upselling product, the hygienists now work off commission and compete for you as a patient and openly explain Regis that their livelihood now depends on patients coming back to them, like a "hairstylist", their own words. It's been a REVOLVING door of brand new grad school dentists for 3 plus years and you will never see the same Dr. twice if you go 6 months between visits. The final straw was having to go back a month after having work done to repair an issue that was caused by improper care the first time. The office agreed it was their responsibility and did not charge for the recare, signing a $0 treatment plan, and verbally being told it would cost nothing for "their" mistake- but left out that they went on to charge $120 to my insurance for an "office visit" after the fact and when confronted about it saying "they're required by law to charge" (?!) I, in turn, have to pay out of pocket, since only the check up visits are covered by insurance. An office visit that was necessary due to their own admitted negligence, by a Doctor never to be seen again since their turnover rotation is constant, is now my responsibility because they're negligent and money hungry. The care and dedication has completely left this dental practice, and the front desk/billing staff has sadly adopted the negative, profit-hungry ethos that is Midwest Dental as well!! Do yourself a favor and find a local Dr dedicated to your well being, this is not the place for that any longer!!

I returned for annual check up to find several new staff members but still felt welcomed and comfortable from the time I walked in the door.

I went to this dentist for over a year. They helped me with some cavities and crowns. At first, I thought it was pretty good care. I had gotten quite a bit of work done. After my last appointment, I decided I needed to switch. I was referred to a new dentist and I'm glad I left. This dentist seems to be more of a short term fix, which consequently leaves the problem(s) still there... becoming a bigger issue and more money.
