The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

Dr. Heitman and his staff were such a pleasure to work with. I always get anxious visiting the dentist, but they were all so gracious and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Heitman and Midwest Dental.

Tried multiple different dentists around the area and have been very displeased. Went back to Midwest after years of trying other dentists and was very pleased with the service and people there! My front tooth was chipped and vanity made me hate it, Dr. Heitman made me feel heard and helped me when every other dentist brushed me off. Jen, Tricia and Dr. Heitman were AMAZING! I felt heard, comfortable and the visit was the best one I have EVER in my 34 years of life!! I definitely will return and recommend to anyone I know.

I have struggled for years to find a Dentist that understands how difficult it is to stay numb during dental work..FINALLY FOUND ONE, after all these years...Dr. Heitman was EXCELLENT! He was very soft spoken, calming, understanding and offered me something he thought may help me to get through the procedures and stay numb.. IT WORKED WONDERFULLY! I'm a baby, I mean a big baby when it comes to dentists. Dr. Varney and his staff were patient and reassuring with me. It was still a dentist, but they have been wonderful to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

I chose this office 21 years ago because I saw an ad that said "We Cater to Cowards". I've always have a fear of going to the dentist and the folks here always put me at ease. I no longer get anxious about going to the dentist. The entire team Midwest Dental is professional, friendly, and kind. I appreciate them all!

Dr Heitman was a very much friendly dentist. The whole experience was reassuring, on top of the extra service he provided in assuring that my teeth would be lasting after the filling. His assistant Kim ensure everything went smooth and communicated very well in the whole process. Overall I am pleased and glad I found this place altogether.

Great first experience! I called with pretty bad pain. They were able to get me in the very next morning. I was a new patient, so I really appreciated that. Dr. Heitman and Heather took great care of me. I will be using them from now on, and plan on switching my whole family to them.

Never have i had a piece of my jaw bone come out with tooth extractions untill i came here. I also was not prescribed any medication. Looks like i wont be coming back here ever.
