Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.

The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

Got my teeth cleaned and check up. X-rays as well for my 6 month check up. Went great no cavities!!!! This place is so great and works freak with my insurance. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I had my first visit the other day and had a positive experience! No one likes to get X-rays using bite wings but it's part of the checkup. They did a thorough checkup and my hygienist Angie was very pleasant and did a good job. The office staff are also very pleasant. I have more work coming up soon and hope it goes smoothly also!

I have avoided dental work for most of my adult life, fear of the dentist and the pain of it...but they are so friendly and understanding. They informed me of each step in the work and made me feel comfortable! Not once have I felt judged for my irrational fear of the dentist!

Very satisfied with my most recent impression appointment, but VERY, VERY, VERY disappointed when I came to desk to pay. At prior appointment we discussed having a "flipper" to be made in preparation for an implant process. When I asked how much it would cost so I could prepare financially, I was quoted a price of $200 to $300. After having the impression made and preparing to pay, I was told the flipper process was going to cost $800. I was beyond shocked. Not sure what happened there. Other than that, I've been very happy with Midwest Dental.

Very pleasant and efficient staff. It was our first visit and we saw a temporary Dentist as the permanent one was on Maternity leave. He was thorough and experienced. My husband and I will continue to be patients at Midwest Reedsburg.

Very good dentist has cleaned my teeth and had to refer me to an orthodontist to pull a tooth as she does not do that. Is doing a first time crown for me. Explains everything they are doing and is a great dentist, as I had to go to a different dentist when mine closed up. Would recommend her to anyone. She works with my insurance.
