The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

I've been going to Midwest Dental in Oconomowoc for a few years. Everyone there is very professional, very friendly and helpful. I've had no problems making or changing appointments. Reviewing my insurance coverage and costs ahead of time has never been a problem, billing and online payments are handled well too. Dr Cotey is my dentist and I trust her completely for all my procedures. I would not hesitate to recommend Midwest Dental to anyone.

I recently had my fangs cleaned followed with a temporary crown and a couple days later a permanent crown by Dr Judie Cotey & assistants. My experience was fantastic, on time and excellent results. The experience was like being on the flight deck of a well oiled aircraft carrier running multiple sorties simultaneously. Extremely well orchestrated and painless. The resulting crown fits better than the original one, is smooth and comfortable. Very happy Dr Cotey is my dentist! She even laughs a my jokes, not an easy task for someone so professional.

The practices and billing are horrible. They required unnecessary xrays and could not get their billing straight to save their life. Only a headache visiting them. Very rough cleanings as well.

Tried setting up an appointment for a tooth extraction an got laughed at over the phone. I guess you have to be a dentist to know if your tooth needs to be removed, what a joke. Lost my business.

Getting in for help on the day of the call without having been a patient previously was exceptional. The thorough explanation & consultation was also exceptional. I left there with a complete understanding of all aspects of my issues. Also, everything was explained to me in terms that I could understand. The care given was outstanding.

Everyone is very sweet and very attentive to ones needs. All the dentists there are very thorough with their work , and make sure you are comfortable during your visit. The cleanings go by really fast too.

Yikes, stay away! The most recent review (other than mine) is from over a year ago and it seems things have gone downhill since. Receptionist seemed to be short with me and annoyed that I called from my car upon arriving for my appt. (as their text asked to). Once inside I let her know our insurance website was having problems and I wasn't able to pull my card but I believe they can look it up with my social security number. Apparently this did not warrant acknowledgement or a response and I was told to grab a pen & fill out the forms. The first form states that there is a $12 fee (when I asked her about it she told me it's now $10) for their extra safety supplies due to COVID. I'm sorry, but really? Charging your customers for rules you decided to implement shouldn't be at our expense. The money isn't the issue, I would've been happy to pay for the entire appt. out of pocket & up front since me not having my card was such an inconvenience! It's the charging of unnecessary expenses passed along to customers without advance notice and the snotty service. I walked out and am looking forward to visiting a much friendlier place down the street.
