Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.
No really, just dont. Weve all seen someone open a bottle with their teeth. An amazing feat? Nope, but a great way to cause micro fractures in your teeth. Using your teeth to rip open potato chip bags or to crush ice are also no nos.
The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

Not happy with your customer service for appt. You canceled a cleaning I had scheduled and couldn't get me in until 6 months later so I could only get 1 cleaning in this year. Thinking of moving my business to a smaller dental place where they care about you and your not just a number.

Midwest Dental came highly recommended and they didn't disappoint. My 2 boys felt very comfortable and took to heart the things they were asked to do to improve their dental hygiene. I was impressed by the amount of things I learned in the one visit about my teeth and what I can do to take care of them. I try to take care of my teeth and thought I was doing a pretty good job but there were things pointed out to me that I can definitely do better. The staff all around was great as well.

I had to call half a dozen times to try and get an appointment, as the automated system they have does not work. When I mentioned I was not getting a call back or an appointment scheduled on the website, the office staff told me this was intentional since they were not taking new patients. Please just let people know that you are booked out, this game of avoiding new customers is bizarre and unprofessional.

Dr. Q how to perform a root canal on my upper jaw and also built up the area so that a crown could be placed. Dr. Q explained the best course of action for that tooth and several others that will need work later this month. The high level of skill and concern demonstrated by Dr. Q and the dental assistants is exemplary! They all made a difficult procedure easier for me!

Dr. Q is absolutely the very best dentist that we have ever had during our adult life. He was passionate when It came to dental health and always treated me (74 yrs old) as he would treat his own Mother. We are engaging others to leave their more expensive dentists and come to Midwest Dental. We must Never lose Dr. Q.

The hygienist was very nice and friendly. She gave me pointers on cleaning my teeth to avoid nasty pockets. Did a very thorough job so it hurt a little at times. The dentist followed up with me and advised me on a tooth that broke and why it did break. Really appreciate explanations!

Started going to Midwest back when the office was on the lake, not in the strip mall. Since then dentists come and go so fast I don't even know my dentists name any more. The one tried to blame me for the crown he made not fitting. They are so busy you need to make appointments 7 or more months in advance. I never signed up for texts, but you get a text just about daily for a week before your appointment, then feedback requesting texts. That bring you here to Google.

The Dr. and the assistants are very understanding and gentle. The dental hygienists are wonderful. They made me feel at ease, at least ease as I can be. They were very understanding and explained things as they were doing them. Have quite a ways to go on my treatment, but so far they all have made me want to get the job done finally. I will recommend Midwest Dental to anyone.

He deserves more than 5 stars. He and his staff deserve more than 5 stars. I can't say anything but good about my experiences with Midwest Dental over the past year or more since I started with Doctor Q. I can't say enough about him and his staff. All my experiences were positive. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Q. I just finished my appointment with Dr. Q (3-29-22). Again I give him and his staff 5 stars. I got lower partial denture. A perfect fit, no problems. I highly recommend him for any dental work, (4-12-22) Two weeks in and not a problem. I'm doing fine. I am very satisfied with Dr. Q and his staff. I give him 5 stars.

Past visits were a least a B+. My last visit was an A++. This one was a cleaning and it had been 10 years. My teeth were probably really bad. The hygienist(?) was so nice. The dentist is always top notch. I almost can't wait to go again. Thank you so much to the team. PS: Maybe I would not have felt this good if I'd have had a cavity!! LOL

I've been going to Midwest Dental for over 10 years. I usually see Samantha, but she had the day off, deservedly. She is always friendly and bubbly. The dental hygienist who I had yesterday (sorry I don't recall her name) was also super sweet and kind. I recommend them both as they do a great job! There has been a lot of turnover with dentists, but Dr. Q has been there a couple years now and I hope he never leaves. He has explained things to me in ways that I've not encountered before. He's friendly and funny and a smart guy. Overall I highly recommend the Midwest Dental office in Manitowoc.
