The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

My daughters have been seen at Midwest Dental (in New Glarus initially, and now Fitchburg location) for several years now; and although it's only been routine visits/X-rays/cleanings/sealants applied, it's been a seamless endeavor each time. The staff is friendly, professional and accommodating. They make 'the scary dentist' not so scary.

This is a franchise (vs. a private practice where the dentist is the owner). Do not count on having a long-term relationship (say 30 years) with a dentist at Midwest Dental. I went once. Good outcome. I was to monitor a certain are for problems and then revisit and discuss at my next appointment. However, "my" dentist had left the practice and the new guy had no idea what my special issue was (guess they do not maintain patient notes either...??) Hmmm...?? Bottom line: sure seems like I should be able to select the person to whom I entrust my dental care. Will not repeat.

I would give no stars if Possible. Contacted Office for a dental appointment almost two weeks ago online, naturally I thought they were busy. Gave the benefit of doubt. Following Wednesday called for an appointment and I was told my name was not in the system. Then she transfers me to voicemail and I leave a message with no return phone call. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a dental office. So unprofessional! I do not recommend this office.

I just had my 1st visit for teeth cleaning and new patient checkup. We moved to this area from west coast and the water is not as soft as before. My teeth has more stains. They did a very good job about teeth cleaning, fast and clean. Some clinics I experienced previously cannot finish teeth cleaning for one visit. They would ask you come back in a week. They billed the insurance twice. This didn't happen here because of the efficiency and quality of work. I appreciate the service and recommend to everyone.

Dr. Megan is absolutely fantastic! Conversational, funny, effervescent, disarming and absolutely painless! The staff are also friendly, and do make one feel completely at ease, explaining a procedure, offering a suggestion, or just being helpful in what ever way they can to make the dental office experience smooth sailing! I have pretty significant dentist anxiety and was really nervous to get back to it after a few years off going to the dentist. My dental hygenist, Maichee, was awesome, thorough, and gentle. Dr. Oldridge was also kind, funny, and informative. She gave me helpful tips going forward. I highly recommend this place! :) I even already made my next 6 appt which is not something I would normally do.

There is little to no communication that happens at this office. They didn't do a gum health check or cavity check for the cleaning. They did not call to say that I wouldn't be seen by the actual dentist AT ALL or that she wouldn't even be in the office. They also pushed a $10 COVID fee without advance notice. Basically, expect to get subpar service and pay extra for it. Would not recommend. *edit* Went to a real dentist, who was actually in office. 8 cavities. 8! My husband has 3. We effectively had ZERO dental care for over 3 years! DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY.

EVERYONE from receptionist to dentist were ALL very polite and accommodating. They were able to get me in for a urgent appointment when my dentist could not. I have now changed to Midwest Dental for ALL of my future dental needs.

I'm very thankful the doctor alerted me to a problem with my thyroid! I have an appointment with my PCP to get it checked out. I don't recall any dentist checking my thyroid in the past so this is above the call of duty in my book. The hygienist was careful around my sensitive teeth which I greatly appreciate.
