The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

I had a bad experience, I don't know if it was just with me. but the Dr. The Young lady when she did the exam to me she was hurting me the gums a lot it was nothing gentle, I've that exam before and they don't hurt me so much like that. for education I don't get up and leave the place but I regretted leave my money to that place. when doctors graduate, they take an oath, to help people But some of they forget that. she gave me an estimate of $6800. and I she leave me with my problem, she didn't even try to help me. looked like she just wanted the money. I don't recommend that place there are many more good dentists at least treating you with dignity

Moved to the Elgin area and finally found a good dentist here at Midwest Dental.. unfortunately they have rescheduled us multiple times; pushing back our semi annual teeth cleanings several months.

After moving to the Elgin area and wanted to find a dental office close to home. I received a advertisement through the mail for a 'New Patient' offer from Midwest Dental in Elgin. I placed the call to see about availability for an exam and x-rays. My experience was EXCELLENT!! The receptionist worked with me to find a time that met my hectic schedule and due to a cancellation, I was able to schedule my cleaning the same week as my new patient exam. The hygienist, Chris, did an fantastic job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Sefton was so kind, thoughtful, and professional. The office is pleasant, modern, and very welcoming. Thank you Midwest Dental for a great first experience. I'm all set for my 6 month check-up!

I moved to the area from out of state and needed a dentist appointment quickly. The staff was very helpful in getting me scheduled the next day. During the exam the hygenest was very personable and the doctor was as well. They took the time to explain everything and make sure I understood what my options were. I am looking forward to developing a great relationship with this practice.

I had my teeth cleaned here 6 months ago and just received a message that I was due for a cleaning. I made the cleaning appointment and upon arrival, was told they were going to do oral cancer screening and x-rays. I told them I didn't want all those tests, but the Dentist insisted they were "mandatory". I still refused, and the dentist said I was "dismissed". The staff was apologetic and very nice. Midwest Dental has set up routine exams to not only clean your teeth, but clean your wallet too. Great staff, greedy dentist. Be aware as you get fleeced by their well designed, revenue-gaining methods.

I have been going to Midwest dental for at least 8 yrs or longer. Each dentist I have had was excellent at evaluating my teeth. The dental hygienists are super nice and thoughtful people when it comes to making sure you are comfortable with the cleaning process. Liz at front desk is very professional and she gets back to me promptly when I've left a message. Great place to have your teeth checked out.

I lost a crown over the weekend and they had to squeeze me in on Monday. Very thorough and professional in correcting my crown. Luckily I had the old crown and it had not been damaged. In and out quickly. Very friendly practice. I always feel comfortable with them.
