Summer is the time for outdoor sports and you can protect your teeth, cheeks, gums and lips with a low-cost mouth guard. It could save you from a knocked out or chipped tooth, and it will prevent you from grinding your teeth during the big game.

The short answer is no. You most likely cannot sunburn your teeth. Shwew! Your lips on the other hand can sunburn. In fact, your lips might be the most susceptible to sunburn. Its important not to rely on regular sunscreen to protect your lips, choose a lip balm with a minimum of SPF 15. It is designed for your lips, and it will stick better. And just like with sunscreen, remember to reapply it every couple hours.
There are lots of reasons to smile all summer long. Evidence suggests that smiling reduces stress and helps your heart. So show those teeth! Brush twice a day, floss daily and smile big. You'll feel better when you do.

My experience with Midwest Dental in Eagan has been superb. Clean, welcoming waiting rooms; attentive service, and short wait times to be seen are some of the reason why I chose Midwest Dental Eagan to receive my dental care. Additionally, the staff is extremely kind and engaging, making the experience more comfortable.

Midwest Dental has been absolutely fantastic to my mother. She needed an emergency appointment for an infected tooth soon after moving to Eagan. They got her in the same day and were so helpful. They referred her to an oral surgeon. When we had trouble finding one in network, they went above and beyond to find one and get her an appointment the next morning. Everyone there has been so friendly and my mom has found her new dentist. I am so thankful and would recommend them to anyone.

Sent an email requesting an appointment - no response. I call and make an appointment with a person over the phone but then someone calls back and cancels. States the appointments should have not been made. What a waste of time meanwhile I'm in pain and onto looking for another dentist location. Great first and last impression for a new patient.

Maria, my hygienist, always does a fantastic job. She is quick and efficient and always answers all of my questions. I love Dr. Olson too! She's always on top of what is going on with my total health. I rate Midwest Dental with a 5 star rating! I am very pleased!

I've been super happy with Midwest dental as my local dentist. Everyone there has been super friendly. I had an issue with a mouth guard and the dentist at Midwest offered to adjust it at no charge when it was made by a different dental group.

Recently moved to the MSP area, and found Midwest Dental for a cleaning. Excellent staff and facilities. Glad to find a great dental office on the first try! Once I finally found a great dentist I didn't care how far away it was from my house in Plymouth So worth the drive! So through and you won't spend an arm and a leg. Previous dentists have wanted to overhaul my older teeth and crowns. Midwest in Eagan do what you need done and not what doesn't. My hygienist is a rock star and my dentist, Dr. Olsen really takes care of my dental issues and concerns. I couldn't recommend them enough. Awesome!
