Chelsey Glass, BSDH, RDH, CDA, attended Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois where she obtained her certification in Dental Assisting and her licensure as a Dental Hygienist. Upon completing her education at Lewis & Clark, she began working on her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Missouri-Kansas City while working clinically part-time. Her Bachelors degree largely focused on evidence-based research and education. Chelsey has been working clinically since 2011. Her passion and goal is to provide patients with the best care possible and to educate patients on the importance of the oral-systemic connection between the health of their mouth and their overall health.
Originally from Illinois, Chelsey has turned into a Kentucky-loving girl! In her free time, you can find her geeking out on dental podcasts, continuing education courses, and anything self-development-related professionally and personally. You can also catch her being active outdoors, doing adventurous and fun things, or trying to learn how to drive a tractor and take care of cows on her new farm life living with her husband and pup named Lucy.
Angela Carpenter is Midway Family Dentals newest hygienist from Lexington, KY. Angela graduated in 2018 and has spent the past few years working in the Lexington area. She takes pleasure in educating her patients on best practices for good oral hygiene to help better their overall health and enjoys being a part of each patients health journey. Midway Family Dental feels like a second home to Angela and her favorite thing about working at Midway Family Dental is the teamwork that everyone demonstrates to put the patients first. Angela believes in a daily approach of kindness and making goals to better yourself in steps for self-growth. When she is not at Midway Family Dental, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and her mini golden-doodle puppy. She loves to garden, try new recipes, and travel.

We drive an hour and a half to see Rachel. She recently filled my young son's teeth and was so gentle, kind, thorough and quick for his age. They explained everything to me and my son thoroughly before they did the procedure and I can not shout enough praises for how amazing they are. We will continue to drive the hour and a half for such amazing care!

Five star customer / patient service. This practice delivers state of the art dentistry right here in the Bluegrass. Dr. Riley and her team go above and beyond the norm for you. If you suffer from dental anxiety or really want to be with a professional, please get a new patient appointment with Dr. Riley. Lottie, her chair-side dental assistant, is warm and helpful. She will talk you through what will happen at your appointment with the loveliest attention. Dr. Riley is skilled, competent, and fast! She removed an aging amalgam restoration for me safely and quickly WITHOUT ANY PAIN! My filling is smooth, comfortable, and I couldn't be happier with the service. I am recommending this practice to all of my loved ones! Know that you will be well cared for and appreciated as a patient.

I recently traveled from Fort Mitchell, KY to Midway after hearing such great reviews about Dr. Riley and her team. I had an amalgam filling that I needed removed and this office offers SMART removal. I had this done on Monday and Dr. Riley worked so efficiently. You can sense her confidence and it's reassuring to know that she truly knows what she's doing. I appreciate the holistic approach she offers at her practice and cannot recommend her more!

Wow. Absolutely the most peaceful, calm, patient dentistry team imaginable. Dr. Riley, Lottie, and Breana spent an hour and a half on my 6 year old son's tooth extraction today. During that time all but 5 minutes was spent building his confidence, explaining everything to him, and giving him time to process and find his calm for the procedure. After traumatic prior experiences at other dental offices as young child, Midway Family Dental is the only office my son will even open his mouth for. After the procedure, Lottie spent another 10 minutes explaining to him how proud she was of him and that his future appointment would be nothing of the like and how the next appointment would be a fun one where they get to play with all the cool dentist tools. They are so personable and kind. We avoided invasive sedation dentistry because of their patience and grace and we are so grateful. I cannot recommend Midway Family Dental more!

You know when you don't want to share your favorite thing with people because it might get ruined if everyone knows about it? That's the position I find myself in right now. Midway Family Dental...might I compare you to my favorite fishing spot. I hope no one finds out about you so that I can keep you all to myself. Wait, then you'd go out of business and I'd be in a terrible position. Seriously...I have never had a better experience at a dentist in my entire 44 years. I felt like I was at a spa. The building is beautiful and the staff is second to none. I left there with a sense that these people really do care about my dental health (and health overall). You won't get rushed out of here. The consults are long and the care is thorough, professional, and pleasant. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit.

If you are looking for small town charm, personal touches, unique historical buildings, friendly staff, and great dentistry then Midway Family Dental is where you need to go. Dr. Riley is one of the best dentists I've been to, delivering state of the art dentistry with a personnel touch. She even remembered what my kids got for Christmas the year before! I highly recommend Midway Family Dental.

I highly recommend Midway Family Dental! Dr.Riley and her staff are very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I took my 4 and 6 year old to Dr. Riley for a second opinion and I couldn't feel more relieved. She is by far the best dentist my kids or I have been to. I am look forward to going back for my visit in a couple weeks. I'm so grateful a friend recommended them to us!

I love everything about this office. I just found Dr Rachel via a friend after having a terrible experience with a dentist in Lexington. The office has a cool vibe, modern equipment and garage doors that i can only imagine were from previous business and i immediately was excitied to think about a summer appointment with those doors open to nature around while getting my cleaning. Dr Rachel was so knowledgeable about everything. She took a sample from my mouth to check bacteria which she analyzed. They did an oral cancer screening. Overall a very thorough exam. I loved Lottie and Candace. Seems like a dream team office. If you want a total dental experience go to this office.

I am so excited to have found a dentist as wonderful as Dr. Riley. I've neglected having some work done because I didn't feel comfortable with trusting my teeth and issues to dentists in my immediate area. Midway Family Dental is worth the 2 hour drive it takes me to get there. Dr. Riley is caring and very skilled and competent, the hygienist an office manager are two of the sweetest ladies and really know their stuff! I highly recommend MFD!
