Chelsey Glass, BSDH, RDH, CDA, attended Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois where she obtained her certification in Dental Assisting and her licensure as a Dental Hygienist. Upon completing her education at Lewis & Clark, she began working on her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Missouri-Kansas City while working clinically part-time. Her Bachelors degree largely focused on evidence-based research and education. Chelsey has been working clinically since 2011. Her passion and goal is to provide patients with the best care possible and to educate patients on the importance of the oral-systemic connection between the health of their mouth and their overall health.
Originally from Illinois, Chelsey has turned into a Kentucky-loving girl! In her free time, you can find her geeking out on dental podcasts, continuing education courses, and anything self-development-related professionally and personally. You can also catch her being active outdoors, doing adventurous and fun things, or trying to learn how to drive a tractor and take care of cows on her new farm life living with her husband and pup named Lucy.
Angela Carpenter is Midway Family Dentals newest hygienist from Lexington, KY. Angela graduated in 2018 and has spent the past few years working in the Lexington area. She takes pleasure in educating her patients on best practices for good oral hygiene to help better their overall health and enjoys being a part of each patients health journey. Midway Family Dental feels like a second home to Angela and her favorite thing about working at Midway Family Dental is the teamwork that everyone demonstrates to put the patients first. Angela believes in a daily approach of kindness and making goals to better yourself in steps for self-growth. When she is not at Midway Family Dental, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and her mini golden-doodle puppy. She loves to garden, try new recipes, and travel.
