Dr. Rebecca Hughes graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Hughes selected to perform her General Practice Residency with the Veterans Administration Dental Clinic in Oklahoma City, where she served our Oklahoma Veterans.
This residency provided her with advanced training in all the specialties of dentistry including oral surgery, anesthesia, and treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Hughes then chose to further continue to serve her community by accepting a teaching position as Clinical Assistant Professor with her alma mater, the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
While in dental school, Dr. Mirabal received the Michael Bakowski Anatomical Sciences Award which was awarded to the dental student with the highest GPA in anatomical sciences, and the Dental Laboratory Excellence Award which was awarded to one senior student for achievements in dentistry and laboratory work.
He attended an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Wichita State University where he continued his studies in implant placement, endodontics, surgical procedures, and more complex restorative treatment. He takes great pride in his work and knows that its the details that make the difference.
Melissa graduated from Community Care College in 2014 with her Dental Assisting Certification. Melissa and her husband, Shayne, have been together since 2007. They have four beautiful children, Jayden, Cooper, Journey, and Jordynn. When Melissa is not busy with her children, their sports, or laundry, she loves being outdoors, hunting, camping, grilling, or just sitting out by the fire. She enjoys getting to work with her sister, Shelby, everyday!
Whitney graduated from Tulsa Community College Dental Hygiene Program ready to hit the ground working! She is passionate about making every patients dental experience comfortable and developing a lasting relationship with her patients. Whitney and her husband, Cody, just welcomed their first child in September of 2018. They enjoy going to Lake Tenkiller, travelling, and being outdoors.
Shelby graduated from Community Care College in 2014 with her Dental Assisting Permit. She loves taking care of patients and enjoys orthodontics. Shelby has three children, Legend, Keizor and Hadeleigh. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, and going shopping.
Priscilla has been married to her husband for Gerald for 37 years. She and Gerald have three children, C. Shaun, Timothy, and Alexander. Priscilla works most weekends, covering six states, as a Zumba Education Specialist teaching new participants to become Zumba instructors. Do you know a Zumba instructor Priscilla has probably trained them. She is proud to be working at Midtown Smiles with her son, Dr. C. Shaun Mirabal, and daughter Dr. Rebecca Hughes. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

I went to Midtown Smiles for the first time today and they were amazing! They called me as soon as they got a cancellation and Dr. Mirabal was so thorough. He did such a great job explaining everything and Melissa was super sweet as well!

Dr Hughes changed my life. Long story short I was in an accident when I was 10 that left me with a really bad smile. I saved up money for years as an adult to fix my teeth and went into the process with SO much anxiety. Let me tell you that all the people that work at Midtown Smiles are so kind and genuinely care about their patients. They were so patient and Dr Hughes went above and beyond to get my teeth absolutely perfect. I will forever be grateful for everyone who helped me in that process but especially Dr Hughes.

I have had a lot of horrible experiences at dental clinics in the past. The visit with midtown smiles today was the best I have ever had. I would defintly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. 5 stars does not do the team there justice.

I always have a great experience when i go to Midtown Smiles. The staff is always helpful and must tell you about my experience today. I've had a troubled crown for more than 15 years; that another dentist did a long time ago. Other dentists had told me that it is just the way it's going to be or maybe I need a root canal, nothing that made it feel any better. No one had been able to resolve my ache from that crown. I hadn't been able to drink or chew from my left side due to sensitivity. I had even contemplated having that tooth pulled. Lol. My dentist smiled and told me about other options. He then took the time to ask more questions, did some tests, checked several things and NO joke, I am able to drink eat and chew from my left side now. I don't know what he did exactly and it's not a permanent fix, but just to have a dentist care enough and take the time to really look without rushing made a huge difference for me today. It makes me very happy. Thank you! Thank you!

Honest professionals with no pressure to undergo procedures until the patient is ready. This is expensive territory and the doctors acknowledge that. I appreciate the wiggle room they give me to make good on my bill. I'm moving out of town but will maintain my relationship with Midtown Smiles.

I've been going to MidTown Smiles for almost a year and they are awesome! Than make sure to answer any of concerns and the billing dept is great as well. When they tell you it's going to cost a certain amount that's amount you will pay no hidden costs. I highly recommend them they're the best !!!!

Dr.s Rebecca and Shaun are really good dentists but that's the boring part. The part you need to know is that they are caring, friendly, thoughtful people who have made my family comfortable going to the dentist. The hygienists, assistants and administration staff are super helpful & friendly.
