Dr. Tisa Tellez was born in Alabama but raised in Central Florida. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Certificate in Ceramics at the University of Florida. Dr. Tellez graduated from LECOM School ofDentalMedicine in 2017 and then completed a one year Advanced Education in GeneralDentistry(AEGD) Residency program through NYU Langone Health at Pueblo Community Health Center in Colorado.
After practicingdentistryin Colorado, she moved back to her hometown of Longwood with her husband, Cesar, their son, Elias, and their dog Choco. Dr. T enjoys spending time with family, binge watching television shows, trying new restaurants and breweries (when there isn't a pandemic going on), and staying active by biking and yoga.
Dr. George Sonbol, DDS, MAGD, completed his training at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He has the distinction of being awarded theFellowship and Mastership of the American Academy of General Dentistryplacing him among the 1% of general dentists throughout the United States and Canada that hold this title.
In order to offer you and your family the most advanced treatment, Dr. Sonbol regularly participates in continuing education. He logs over 100 hours every year, which allows him to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry. Dr. Sonbol has also served as manuscript reviewer for the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry, which further increased his knowledge.
I consider myself blessed and fortunate to be in this profession. It's always rewarding to provide relief for a patient who is in pain or to restore a smile to full health. But what I find most fulfilling is helping our patients understand the value of dentistry and the possibilities they have for a healthy mouth. This helps our patients focus on the positive impact on their dental health instead of thinking about discomfort or fear.
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

This is the worst place to go. They false advertise on marketplace. They tell you it's free to come in first time patient, that's a lie they charged me. They advised for 3k for a full implant arch. That's not the case either. The office doesn't seem to know what they're doing. It's a big scam to get you to come in to their office. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. There are so many other places to go. Ones that won't lie to you and actually treat you like you're someone. And will not lie to you. I suffered from a severe brain injury. Should not have left my house. I had doctors orders to stay in bed. They talked me into signing up with 2 different dental insurance companies to save me money. So I did. I didn't save anything at all. And know we're close to there lies on social media. I asked for the doctor to give me a call. I was told he would over and over that was a lie. Never happened. They got me to leave my bed when I had no biusiness doing so just to inform me that the appointment wasn't fee,, and their price was 4x the price marketplace was advertising .... Again I wouldn't recommend this practice for even a simple cleaning. Look around.

Went to get a 2nd opinion and was very pleased with the results. The examination was very thorough and pinpointed the problem. Office staff including the hygienist were excellent. Dont hesitate to visit this dental group. You wont regret it.

Who would have thought you can walk into a dentist office and just feel good vibes. This is the place to get your teeth checked. Very friendly staff! Amazing first experience.

This office made my dental experience a great one. The entire process was smooth from check in, to getting my teeth examined and cleaned by the great Dental Hygienist, Maria, to further evaluation and examination by Dr.Sonbol. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a great experience at the dentist.

This place was awesome! They cared about my feelings and giving me a new smile. They gave me a step by step journey and how everything goes. They also let me know pricing and how my teeth would look afterwards. I'm glad I came to Midtown Modern Dentistry!

I scheduled an appointment with this office and needed to re-schedule at the last minute. I understand this is not ideal, but things in life come up. The receptionist, Grace, proceeded to lecture me about re-scheduling in the future and instead of asking for a new appointment, I then asked her to cancel it completely. She then hung up the phone without confirming my appointment was canceled. I called back to make sure my appointment was in fact canceled and she made two excuses about why she hung up. I'm very glad I canceled this appointment instead of re-scheduling since they don't seem to value professionalism.

Highly recommend. Ive had routine cleanings and also a crown replacement here. Midtown Modern was very transparent and honest in their assessment, did a fantastic job, and years later my crown is holding just fine.

I was at Midtown Modern Dentistry for a consultation for implants. Was very impressed with the staff and Dr Sonbol, they gave me three different options, and explained each one to me in great detail!

BE CAREFUL!!! They try to charge you for things you shouldn't pay for because they don't know how to check insurance properly. The girl they had left them, and the office manager didn't do her job properly and file claims when they were supposed to be filed. They do dental work without checking if your insurance covers it. They are crooks. Because they didn't do their job correctly, they are leaving me in braces that are supposed to be taken off Saturday and telling me I would have to pay $1,700 to get them off when my insurance covers it and THEY screwed up. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Glad to feel relieved I have found my new dental office. Amazing experience starting with scheduling my first appointment. Knowledgable, on-task, didn't waste time, etc. When I arrived the cost was exactly what they quoted me and had all of my paperwork and records I previously sent in. Organized...imagine that! Lobby was nice, clean, and inviting. They even took me in a couple minutes prior the the appointment time. X-rays ...super easy and comfortable. Dental cleaning ...comfortable, painless, educated along the way, actually felt like a good cleaning with care and not rushed. Doctor listened to my concerns and spent time with me. First appointment took 1.5hrs and way less than planned. Also, didn't have to do 3 separate visits like many "chain" dental offices do where they separate out x-rays, cleaning, and doctor visit for your first appointment. Paid out of pocket and very reasonable compared to other private dental offices and even "chain" offices. Thank you!

I love coming to this office. Very clean and nice people who work there. I really like Liz one of hygienist she's really cool and knows her stuff. I had my cleaning with her today and she treated me like vip. I definitely recommend this place to others!

Just came from getting my 1st deep cleaning with this office. They did mix up the cost but I verified with my insurance before I came. Very nice, clean office, and the hygienist walked me through the whole process of deep cleaning which is a plus because I have had some bad experiences. One thing I don't like the scheduling is very bad. I can never get an appointment that works for me!
