Dr. Rogelio Garrote was born and raised in Miami. He attended Florida International University for his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He then attended Nova Southeastern University in Broward County for his doctorate DMD degree.
Dr Garrote has continued his education into the future by taking various courses in dental implantology, cosmetic dentistry and digital dentistry. Dr Garrote strives to provide his patients with ethically and professionally sound oral healthcare. He has lived his life in southeastern Florida and has a special affection for the location and its people. The ocean, weather and rich culture have always made this place his home.
Dr. Rivero was born and raised in Venezuela, where she became a Dentist in 2002 at Universidad Santa Maria. Following dental school, she moved to Chile to continue with her education on Prosthodontics at Universidad de Valparaiso, where she enjoyed and learned about its people, food, and culture.
Dr. Rivero moved to the United States in 2011 and pursued her dream of becoming a Dentist in this country. She completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the University of Florida in 2021, where she had the opportunity to be the Chief Resident and share a very nice experience, treating patients providing them good care and rapport.
Dr. Rafael Porras was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. He is a graduate of the Dental School at the University of Costa Rica. After working for the Costa Rican government and in private practice as a general dentist in San Jose for two years, he moved to Connecticut and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency as well as a Fellowship in General Dentistry from the University of Connecticut Health Center.
After three years in Connecticut, Dr. Porras got his specialty certificate in periodontics, as well as Master of Science in Dentistry, was awarded by the Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He is board certified by the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr Guia was born and raised in Venezuela, where she became a Dentist in 2005 at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Following dental School, she came to the United States to pursue her dream of becoming an orthodontist. She completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Nova Southeastern University in 2010, where she had the opportunity to treat medically compromised and special needs patients.
Afterwards, she moved to New Jersey to complete her orthodontic training at Rutgers University where she obtained her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Dental Science. Upon graduation, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in order to provide the highest quality patient care.
Dr Guia moved back to Florida in 2014 and since then, she has been working in private practice as an orthodontist. She is passionate about treating her patients, creating beautiful smiles, bringing them confidence and great personal satisfaction.
Naimy has 21 years of experience in the dental field. She was born and raised in Cuba. In Cuba, she studied her passion for the dental field, and she became certified as a Dental Assistant and Technician in 1997. In 2006, she made a big change and moved to the United States where she was re-certified as an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary. Naimy takes pride in making sure that her patients are educated about their treatment to ensure that they have a positive and comfortable experience. She also manages and maintains all equipment, supplies, and sterilization protocols. She enjoys working with patients and has been told many times she has a cheerful and friendly disposition. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with my family and partake in church events.
Carmen is a Licensed Dental Hygienist with over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Before coming to The United States, she obtained her University Degree in Dentistry and ran her own practice in Venezuela for several years. She finds joy in what she does in the dental field and in helping her patients live healthier lives. In her spare time, Carmen lives right here in Doral only blocks from the office and loves traveling, reading and going to the beach and spending time with her only son.
Yecenia Sandoval was born in New York, and raised in Northern California. She attended Sacramento College and obtained her AA in Business Administration. She moved to South Florida in 1994, and has worked in the Medical/Dental field for over 25 years. Yecenia loves spending quality time with her kids and family, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and doing movie nights with her daughters and loves watching sunrises and sunsets.
Nildlus is from Venezuela and went to Carabobo University to become a Dentist. She got her title in 2001. Nildlus has 10 years of experience before moving to the United States. She is currently a Registered Dental Hygienist and enjoys her job a lot.In her free time, she likes to read, listen to music and learn every day from the people she surrounds with.
