Dr. Kurt Tsumura (a.k.a. Gadget Doc) is a Colorado Native who graduated from Overland High School in 1987. After high school, he attended Colorado College, where he graduated with a degree in Biology, and an emphasis in Ornithology. He then received his Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry when he graduated in 1995.
Dr. Tim Gutierrez was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Growing up in a family of dentists, he felt a calling to dentistry from an early age. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. He then went on to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
The moment he moved to Colorado for dental school, he knew that he had found his new home. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, family and friends, skiing, snowboarding, hiking and playing sports.
Dr. Jonathan Benefield is a Colorado native born in Grand Junction. He completed his undergrad at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, where he earned his Associates degree in Mathematics and his Bachelors Degree in Biology. He then moved to San Francisco, California, and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific in 2013. While there he especially enjoyed connecting with the LGBTQ+ community by receiving extra training to provide much needed dental services through the Ryan White program, and also volunteering as a dental provider for Project Homeless Connect.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Benefield returned to his hometown of Grand Junction where he spent several years in practice with his brother who is also a dentist. He eventually began to feel the desire to venture to a larger city and decided to relocate to Denver in 2019. He is so happy to have found his dental home and family here at Midtown Dental!
Dr. Benefield loves spending time with his family. He has played the piano since he was 9 years old and is fond of both Classical and New Age composers. He is interested in fitness and ran on both the track and cross country teams for his high school. He enjoys cooking (eating!), card and board games, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Bradley H. Doi received his dental education from Case Western Reserve Universitys School of Dental Medicine in 1980. He spent his dental residency at St. Josephs Hospital in Denver and remained on staff for the next 15 years. He retired in 2020.

This dentist is so good that I choose to go here despite being out of my insurance network. I had previously gone to another dentist in Cherry creek who kept performing expensive treatments that didn't help. After my first visit at midtown dental, they resolved my issue. Their staff is incredibly kind, patient, and transparent.

If you are looking for an incredible dental office, look no further! Dr. T is the best dentist I have ever come across. He is super skilled but also incredibly compassionate--and funny! Everyone in this office is really nice and professional. I highly recommend midtown dental!

I have had a lot of dental work in my life and Dr Benefield and his staff are hands down my favorite Dentist office ever. They are friendly, thorough, and honest. My previous Dentist told me I had decay under the fillings that I have had since I was a kid. He wanted to begin replacing those right away. Thank goodness I moved b/c after my exam with Dr. Benfield I found out that it wasn't true. My fillings and teeth are fine. Saved me thousands of dollars. I don't have dental coverage so cost matters. When I needed a crown they actually turned out to be the best price after making some calls. I highly highly recommend Midtown Dental and Dr. Benfield.

I have been going to Midtown Dental for about 8 years. I always love the dental hygienists. My mom was a hygienist so I have been spoiled my whole life with a great hygienist (totally bias). I love the hygienists at Midtown. I had a great cleaning today. They use the ultrasonic water to get the plaque off which is super comfortable. They are thorough. This is a down-to-earth place which is super friendly and professional staff. Covid Protocols are in place, which made me feel comfortable. Insurance was billed and my whole experience was smooth.

The hygienists are always gentle and ensure you feel comfortable throughout the cleanings. Dr. T is absolutely fantastic. He is thorough, does a great job making himself available or any questions, and he has a great sense of humor. I cannot recommend this dental office highly enough.

This place is amazing! I love having Dr. T as my dentist! He does his job well and you can tell he enjoys his career because he gives ongoing advice to his patients and he's such a blast to talk too. I also love having Lindsay as my hygienist. She is awesome! Great dental office FOR SURE.
